The Innocence of Ignorance

I grew up an athiest, yet god found me. I smile today as I used to roll my eyes at those who spoke of god. It seemed so unreal to me. I don’t follow any book, just allow love to guide me. It sends me peace. I feel it as inseparable from myself and I call it omni. Always this felt more accurate. Omni is short for omnipresence, everything, everywhere. It is the energy that powers the planet and inspires me to remember the source of my true nature, which is love. Only love heals division, misconceptions and the planet.

THE INNOCENCE OF IGNORANCE

The brotherhood,
Is under the cover of brothers,
It is an order that is in disorder,
For special friendships,
Are found in the group,
For a friend is trusted and loved,
And when the light of love is taken away,
It leaves a darkness,
That shadows the meaning of faith.

For god has no special group,
There is no special protection,
For all are the light of love,
That shines through the eyes of god,
For god is shining like the midday sun,
Even in the darkness of grief,
For a kindness will return,
Like a long lost friend sent out into the world,
Goodness,
Is the freedom to love.

Any obstruction to love is fear,
And fear is the ego in separation,
For unity is what all are seeking,
From the scientists to the clergy,
An innate desire to return home,
A distant memory that resides in the subconscious,
Becomes conscious as we awaken,
From our sleep.

Whether it be a brotherhood,
A sisterhood,
A motherhood,
A fatherhood,
Each are complexions,
Each are family,
Each are similar yet different,
But it is in diversity,
That we find truth.

For how can one see the candle in the sun,
Nothing can be seen but brightness,
The darkness arrives to illuminate your candle,
As you read scripture in the peace of night,
The candle is a light unto the darkness,
Yet curse it not,
For no-one knows the purpose of darkness,
Yet it arrives as day whispers its greetings in the morning,
For to judge is to decide,
To accept is to reside in the moment of possibilities,
Awaiting the message,
For it comes in a myriad of ways,
It is in the place you don’t expect it,
Yet the messages arrive as waves erode the rock.

For love is god,
And god is love,
Is that not what all religions teach?
Yet they see god as separate,
Yet love is not separate,
For it wells up in the nature of truth,
For it is true to be your nature,
All repression is an attempt to stop a natural flow,
Suppression of nature is impossible,
It arises from the gavel of injustice,
The judgement is right and wrong,
For the mind is strong,
Yet the spirit belongs,
To nature.

The freedom we seek is in the heart,
It is not an island,
For all is connected,
All are teachers and students,
All are worthy,
Yet judgement fuels differences,
Greed fuels insecurity,
Ignorance listens to voices in innocence,
For it has no reference point,
For the sheep are easily led,
When taught to obey.

Control and fear take hold,
They anchor loyalty in the sea of discontent,
A common enemy consolidates the group,
Atrocities a symbol of power of life over death,
From powerless a false power,
A false profit,
For others are in fear of respect,
For the neglected are in fear,
Trying to be god,
But falling short,
For the angel has forgotten its way,
It has been led astray,
By ignorance.

For those that know stay below,
For there is nothing to aspire,
Yet desires expand awareness,
To inspire to be nothing,
Is the place of creative possibilities,
Which make the impossible possible,
It is the sun rise,
It is non action,
Of non resistance,
That moves the world,
For to go within,
Sees there is no sin,
Only ignorance fuelled by lack of love,
For innocence shines through the eyes of your child,
For in time the awning is dawning,
It is covering the truth from our eyes,
For love is unity in acceptance,
Fear is division in resistance,
Persistence drives the will,
For to surrender leaves no ill-will,
For all will return,
To the real self.
