Love is the Navigator

Sometimes I have the strongest feeling to go home, yet this is not a place, it is a sense of what is familiar, what is real for me. Sometimes I find the world surreal, only love navigates me through to morning.

TO RETURN

Sometimes I wish to return,
To awaken in the ocean of my dreams,
As my inner being filters through the fragments of perception,
My reception welcomes me for another day.

The flute whispers its lonely call,
A familiar tune,
Reminding me of my choices,
Where I see my life dancing between the lies,
My force flickering in the darkness,
A beacon for a possible future,
I lay the table and await my guests,
Hoping they will not be late,
That we can sit together and share,
Be together to care,
To create a new place,
But the shell of beliefs,
Is a casing,
A thick wall of fear,
So carefully I must face their tears,
From endless years of famine,
That lies waste in the drought of the soul.

I close my eyes and feel my life flowing with the wind,
As a relax and feel the flow,
I know I must be patient and wait for the right time,
To not hold onto attachment,
To not live with detachment,
To engage,
To change,
To embrace,
To face,
The challenges that are lovingly placed at my feet,
As I fly the kite of my real hopes,
My boat is coming in,
The time is almost here,
I am losing my fear,
As I carelessly travel to my destination,
A feeling of elation billows the sails,
I cannot fail,
For love is the navigator,
Truth is the direction,
Joy is the journey,
That brings me here,
To my home,
I am never alone.
