A Child Speaks of One World Sharing The Real Wealth of Wisdom

Children are out teachers.

I recall seeing this video many years ago, Severne Suzuki (daughter of David Suzuki) is a wonderful orator and I feel her message is universal. She represents the importance of a voice for children and the reality of the future all human’s are creating in the name of profit. Perhaps we need more prophets to use wisdom to think more deeply about our actions and how we can change to create a better future where all wild life has the right to exist. I really loved her statement about the children on the streets and the common sense of simply helping another child by sharing. She speaks of transferring the money spent on war could be used on the environment and creating a better place. She reminds people that they are taught as children to not fight with others, to work things out, respect others, to clean up the mess, to not hurt other creatures, to share and not be greedy… she goes on to say why do you go out and do the things you tell us not to do. She makes it clear that adults are deciding the future. She asks adults to make their actions reflect their words.

I recall my 9 year old neice telling me she is learning about organics and herbal medicine. She also informed me she started a group at school to protect the environment. She went on to tell me she was teaching other children. I was really amazed at her activism, no-one got her to do it, she just thought about the problems and took action. She wants to see a world that is fit for children. I could see the next generation is going to be the leaders and believe me they are not learning from their parents, they are born into this world with wisdom. We will definitely be learning from them. That is how our world evolves. It is fascinating.

Anyway, here is the voice of one child who has the confidence to lift her voice. It is a great speech. May it awken you to the possibilities for the future of children without an agenda, simply because we love children and as adults we are responsible for the state of the World which reflects our own state of consciousness.
