Can Freedom of Speech Be Blocked on Facebook by the CIA?

It seems I am unable to post in Facebook? That is democracy for you. There is no explanation just the post bar is deactivated. I noticed I couldn’t get into my other Facebook’s. Now it is not because I am popular (2 shares woo hoo). It is because the content raises awareness about illegality and control. So who is controlling Facebook I wonder? hmmm

I learned last night that Twitter controls content favouring the left and has been pressured to allow the ‘right’ and Facebook promises to block foreign interference into the US. Who decides what is interference? Are they interfering?

What if people are just speaking a perspective on truth or evoking a discussion, revealing alternative issues in the public interest? Is that not democratic? I note some explanation says that you must ask for alternative views, well we don’t get that in the media at all. It is usually the media’s perception of events. So why should the public be expected to offer alternatives as well, surely a Facebook discussion would do that as it is a forum.

What about foreign interference the other way round? Is that handled the same on balance? This is what happens when business controls information and beyond that intelligence communities interfering with what is said and what is not. Is that freedom? It appears to have no accountability and can shape shift easily. People can be demonised if they speak up and freedoms disappear. I guess it makes the state of play clear.

The real democracy is to allow voices to speak up who may disagree with you. Can you look at that honestly or must it be shut down? Of course I know the answer but I have to pose the question as my voice will ask questions as the public are not told the truth and I care about them. I am the public.

I’ve just searched Google to find this video which explains a perspective of what is going on. So I am grateful for being silenced on Facebook as I would not have learned about this.

Here are my latest posts on Facebook. I just tried to post one today on repression with Monty Python. Looks like I can’t. I laugh. So this post was created as a result of repression, I smile. See repression doesn’t work it creates the desire for the opposite, naturally. It is not about me it is humanity that will not be silenced as they have to speak up given the future of their children and it is the nature of people to want to know.

I send love to those who disagree with me, but know if I had political power I would never shut you down I would utilise your views for discussion on a neutral platform. I published about a CIA whistleblower, this should evoke discussion within the CIA and societies around the world as we are all impacted by these decisions as our governments are impacted. Taxpayers money is used. Other countries like my own, are influenced without public awareness or input. There has been much political interference that has affected the voice of people.

Openness is empowerment suppression is not democratic. This is not in anyone’s interests, not even those doing it. Differences should not be at war but the very engine of growth and change of which the US founding fathers made clear. That is why we are all different. Yet negativity renders people demonised and the same catch cries are used to isolate people rather than educate to enlighten. Allowance of diversity is the stuff of democracy and it is about clashing ideas to provide you with insights into how what you do may not serve you. I asked an intelligence officer in Bangkok at the Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies Program after his discussion of a suppression of a religious group – who is the enemy? I then asked – is the public the enemy? That is when surveillance started in my life. I realised the US Army had come onto my website 12 times. The FBI came onto my website 80 times due to publishing whistleblowers – Major Douglas Rokke and Scott Ritter. I guess my question had been answered. Yet I am not an enemy in truth.

I am genuinely into peace this does mean exploring what is going on and experimenting with my own voice. If a CIA whistleblower risks his life to speak the truth that deserves public discussion as they are paying for it. Or is it an unaccountable cash cow? The reality is that people do know. The cat, so to speak, is out of the bag. That is the reality. So go forth and suppress away you will inspire the counter-views whether you want it or not. What you resist persists what you look at disappears. There is no enemy is the truth. We simply believe our thoughts without question, these thoughts have been passed down by previous generations, so we are links in a chain. This is unconsciousness that brooks no challenge. I wonder when the wars will be over. That is, the inner wars that seek to sooth through suppression, to keep safe yet others do not feel safe, that is the mirror you can’t see.

I deeply pray for a world that self realises that only love is real. Much suffering has happened on our shared world, mostly it is civilian, that is why voices are rising, they are in great pain and fear as they realise no-one is coming to help and they do not like what is happening via surveillance and suppression. They are seeking solutions not more suffering.

Can you look beyond the rhetoric and sit with this, silently, alone. For it is to you I turn gently and ask is peace possible in y/our world? For peace is not as a cliche but a real proposition, it is inner resolution actually, where you can sit with yourself in peace.

I consider myself a friend as it is only friends that will speak the truth to you and always open to other perspectives. So rather than block why not allow. You may be amazed at what happens. Life is out to serve you in truth it is not against you. I know that is hard to understand but it gets clearer when you look into what you are learning. I could see the Facebook blocking as a terrible thing, it was illuminating for me as it evoked questions.
