Peace Pilgrim The True Voice of Freedom

This woman inspired my life towards peace.  I remember a friend giving me this book way back in 2001.  I became a vegetarian as a result and always felt the call to the selfless life.  She walked 25,000 miles for peace on all levels – between nations, groups, individuals and the very important inner peace. She walked as a penniless pilgrim for more than 26 years.  She accepted no money, worked for no organisation became completely surrendered to life as she fulfilled her mission which was peace on earth.

I heard her voice for the first time today and I could feel the frequency in the way she spoke. She was completely in harmony with the life pattern.  All of us grow believing we have to have money, lovers, work and belonging to be in harmony with ourselves  In truth we plug into the only source that is abundant some call it life others call it god.  It is not a being on a throne it is more a consciousness that is vastly loving and expansive. We are one with this source but most are not aware of this inner spark of infinite possibility.  I find it fascinating as I explore my own fears and love to find my true path of happiness.

Here is a talk she gave to College students.  She explains why she became a peace pilgrim and how she became truly free. This brings me peace reconnecting with this example of what freedom looks like in reality.  Byron Katie is another awakened person as is Eckhart Tolle. They are world teachers showing us the way home.

The question is are we listening and are we willing to explore another meaning of life, the meaning of which will change everything.  Imagine if you lived a fearless life.  There will be no more violence, no more pain and suffering, no more complaining just a simple fascination that life is ever expanding and one can live this in freedom.  For me I have to free myself from coffee, that is my first step and I have to say a hard one as I like it.
