Live To Your Greatest Potential

No-one is greater or lesser than anyone else. Some have seen their beauty others have denied it. Some have thought it is in physical beauty others have understood it in kind acts. Some feel the love, others wall off afraid of being hurt or unworthy of such wonder. Yet when you forgive the hurts in this life – forgive parents, ex partners, children, colleagues, strangers, bosses, society, failed jobs, aiming too high, sickness and importantly, yourself then suddenly you notice a new world opens up, you can see the trees for the wood and pre-serve our true nature. There is only old growth trees calling, for our true nature is love itself and it circulates the globe. When you realise this you will understand the meaning of ‘home’ and live to your greatest potential. That greatness can be cleaning the streets, it can be helping a person in need, saying hello, smiling for no reason or it can be starting a wonderful project that affects millions. It doesn’t matter if it is big or small, the main thing is you lived your potential. Every moment is golden. Life is the gift when you are open.

LIVE YOUR GREATEST POTENTIAL

Life is more than a feeling,
It is living to your greatest potential,
Following your highest vision,
And remembering,
Who you are.

Know in the moment of your greatest trial,
Awaits your greatest triumph,
For challenges make us stretch past fear,
To go forward with courage,
For this is the torch you carry,
Until you cross the finish line.

Our time here is short,
So this poem is a short note,
Asking you – why not make each moment long?
Living deeply and fully,
Accepting what is as a gift,
By investing your time
not in chasing money,
But finding the honey
in a life essence as the presence,
Giving expression to your highest joy,
Living the life you always wanted,
But may be a little timid to try on,
As you think the cloth is not cut to measure,
Some are the tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor,
rich one, poor one, beggar and thief,
Is it chance or do you live your destiny?

Get turned on and find the inner flame,
It doesn’t burn but illuminates potentialities,
This is the flower that opens to brilliance,
That finds the sun-light in depression,
That looks for the colour in blackness,
That sees the shard of light filter into the valley,
In 2012.

Unlock your routines,
Question your patterns,
Are your thoughts true?
Is what you know the state of play?
Step outside the box,
Step outside reasons of why,
To find unlimitedness is why not,
For this is the sky of possibilities
that is infinite,
and casts the future,
When you see to look
at your own book,
To discover you can re-write your story.

Mirror mirror on the wall,
Why do you see walls when viewing the looking glass?
for to see your true beauty,
You must see (within) then look (without),
and true beauty is present,
For it has nothing to do with cosmetic beauty,
Nor a focus on tired eyes,
It is in the shine that sparkles,
As you clean your heart mirror,
Gratitude remembers the life cycle,
Each moment of truth,
The mother of pearl,
For beauty is the meaning
shining in your beautiful eyes.

Your growth is likened to a tiny plant
breaking through,
The world may appear a hard shell,
Yet your smile melts the challenge,
Life may appear crazy,
Why not look for the innocence?
People can be difficult, suspicious
or seeking drama,
Understand it is only pain and boredom,
On a road that goes nowhere,
Yet now here you can find yourself,
And transform each moment into petals
Of understanding.

To know yourself and be true,
Is the message of this time,
Is gives purpose to the struggle,
And ends all suffering,
As the butterfly wriggles free,
To feel upliftment in rising above all things,
for the only cocoon is our own thinking,
Is an unquestioned world that knows not itself,
for new beginnings are calling you home
to see you were never alone,
But always free,
To choose your greatest potential,
This is the chill running up your spine,
The mission bell,
That re-members,
The time is now.
