Awakening on the Winds of Time
AWAKENING ON THE WINDS OF TIME
The wind in the willows,
The sail that billows,
Finds direction when flowing with the wind,
To throw overboard the compass,
To cut loose the anchor,
Is to drift into the unknown,
For this is the moment you are shown,
To surrender.
Who am I to know?
My life is a candle in the wind,
Or is it the wind that tickles the wik,
It flickers and flutters a tiny light,
Illuminates the darkness of a past that no longer exists,
Yet in the pain I feel my future insists,
That I live in the present.
What is presence?
It is not thought or physical form,
It is beyond,
It is within,
It is not written,
Nor spoken,
It lives beyond space and time,
It is the sublime,
Yet it is unseen,
Yet it sees all.
I am on a precipice,
I am looking over the edge I created,
It is a line drawn in the sand,
On one side is the conscious reality we call real,
On the other is the unconscious reality that feels for the sacred seal,
That has never been broken.
Old patterns,
Old ways,
Old thoughts,
Is my own business-as-usual,
For until I change the world cannot change,
For I create my reality,
How do I do this?
I believe what I think,
I think what I believe,
So how to move beyond the mirror?
I must no-longer use the rear view mirror,
I must no-longer look ahead,
For it is to stop the movement,
To become still,
To see then look,
For the world book is open,
It is an open space initiative,
That makes room,
That allows,
That accepts,
No longer following precepts,
For life is an intersecting circle,
Yet to square the circle,
We must circle the square,
And break out of the box,
Of our own thinking.
I am pausing,
I am taking a breath,
I am creating a space,
I am waiting still,
I am still waiting,
For I do not know,
I know not to do,
For to be still,
Is to still be,
Free.
Humanity has a purpose,
And I am awakening to a new story,
Yet the story has no beginning, middle or end,
It is eternal,
And I am losing myself,
As if I don’t exist,
Yet waiting to exist,
Is the place where I am present,
Some call it zero point,
Some call it first cause,
The alpha and omega,
Yet when I fall asleep to dream,
When I reflect on yesterday,
It all seems a dream,
For I am dreaming about what is real,
And I feel now is the time,
To awaken.
