9/11 Destroyed the Mission of WTC of Peace Through Trade
- I just discovered the meaning of the World Trade Center, symbolically it was about peace through trade. It was created in 1939 (beginning of WWII).
Rockefeller changed the intent “world trade and finance center”. I find that revealing.
The shift is clear. The destruction of WTC ended peace through trade. Thus corporate trade went to war. Trade wars use military language and see opponents as enemies rather than aspirational motivation of continuous improvement.
I find that interesting as a peacemaker.
Note:
9/21 is the International Day of Peace (IDP). If you look at 9/11 1+1=2 and IDP 9/21 1+2=3. Thus 2 then 3. Two is duality. Three is the trinity. Together = 23. From duality to trinity or union or what is termed oneness. This event and the criminality around it will lead to peace. I find that interesting as meaningful to me.

July 2001: The WTC is net-leased on July 24 to private developer Silverstein Properties, Inc. for approximately $3.2 billion. A three-to-six month transition period commences.

April 2006: The Port Authority Board of Commissioners approves the framework proposal for a new lease agreement with World Trade Center developer Larry Silverstein on April 27. Under the framework proposal, Silverstein Properties continues to build Towers 2, 3 and 4. Silverstein Properties surrenders its lease rights for the One World Trade Center and Tower 5 to The Port Authority.
Strategy: Insurance, compensation, rebuild and profit.

August 1974: Tightrope artist Phillippe Petit performs an unauthorized walk between the Twin Towers on April 7. This was inspired, those on the ground said he looked like he was walking in thin air. He demonstrated fearlessness and freedom not through control, domination and power (finance) but conquering his own fears without a safety net (offshore havens). How often do people think they need money behind them to be safe. Imagine our fears as a snake and fearlessness as the rope. The snake is a rope.
The tightrope walker trusts in his ability and overcomes fear peacefully by stilling himself within, looking at the end of the rope, not looking down and feeling the balance. Violence and destruction is not power, true power is to know thyself and be true. It is to find balance, this is the real power.
Here is the history of the World Trade Center as a timeline. The trade centre is off balance and this disruption is bringing down western civilisation as the wheels fall off democracy, the shallow statements about freedom and progress lie in the rubble of the World Trade Centre. Some believe it was a controlled implosion designed to create endless wars on terror, or indeed terrorism. It is not conventional war of two parties but the civilians now are targetted as aligned with the so-called enemy.So we see the ransacking of cities, carnage and nothing friendly in the fire. We witness the murder of innocents, we learn of the oil cartels in revolving door politics and relationships with regimes that have the worst human rights records. Then leaders come out and paint the picture of the evil other. In a sense we are all complicit in these crimes against humanity when we say nothing knowing it is wrong. Knowing that crimes are committed.
There is no them and us, or with us or against us, there is only us and until we see ourselves in each other we find the next war and the next war to feed the greed of the few at the expensive of the many.
I would like to see the World Trade Center go back to ‘peace through trade’. What this would look like is stopping political donations to political parties, no revolving doors from corporate to government in order to affect regulations and shape legislation in their image. All connections, meetings relationships on the public record so any citizen can ensure their government is accountable. Companies would have different cultures, not unlike social enterprises where a percentage of profit would go to social causes to connect them to the people. They would not engage in practices that pollute, contaminate, undermine the ecological support system or alter the genetic structures of life. They would not place addictive substances in products nor extract from non renewable resources. They would see business as a service to the community and not some prospect of world domination as a competitive struggle to win or be the best but rewarded on the basis of the ‘good’ it does for humanity.
The problem is not the people per say it is an economic system based on flawed parameters of unlimited or infinite growth. It is asystem that rewards on the basis of maximising the widgets sold at the highest price and lowest cost. All inputs to production are procured to ensure marginal costs, inclusive of labour. Clearly labour is ordinary people seeking to survive but they get treated like widgets and that is how you see people earning $2 per day or $10 per day at costs that are the lowest to ensure business maximises profit for shareholders. The energy and focus of business is to profit, they are completely disconnected from the societies they impact and rationalise it away like economic hitmen (see prior blog). Criminality easily enters this space as money is power and those in power need re-election so they do favours and are compromised (in it together). So again, the politicians are not the problem it is a electoral system that has built up the myth of economics as security and jobs and a two party system perceived to represent workers and business co-opting political power as an unquestioned right. The mantras and theatre are repeated infinitem as benefiting the people. Yet the people themselves are enslaved mostly in jobs they don’t like but accept it as it is the construct that they believe they have no choice over. You have to work. Be responsible. Do the right thing and so on. If you don’t you become a second class citizen, disrespected and the distortions go on to make non compliance untenable.
The people are enslaved, harmed, terrorised (psychologically, actually) or killed as externalities which are considered irrelevant to those who profit. This mentality is not in balance.
That is the set up that creates the conditions for perceived powerful people to get together and catalyse events to shock the world into more spending on defenceis and access to markets. This instills cultures of fear, disempowers civil society and leads all down in a race to the bottom. The ecological crisis both human made and cosmic events brings in natures voice as it lists and oscillates irregularly and traverses tipping points with knock on domino’s collapsing ecological systems under the great weight of human instability undermining earth’s life support systems. If the planet was in hospital it would be in a critical condition, barely breathing but a pulse still registered. That is how serious it is. And we have global elites and thousands o large multinational companies making money out of misery carving out what is best for them when their resources could have gone into cleaning the environment, dealing with stark human needs – water, sanitation, education, food security, soil, clean technologies etc. It is known this can be done given advanced technologies are available. Free energy could have happened at the turn of the 20th century given Tesla’s contribution but greed in the shape of JP Morgan shelved this technology as it couldn’t be metered.
Greed is no friend to anyone, even those seduced by the illusion of power. It is said that greed and fear are the enemies of humankind, this is accurate.
This is the core problem. This is the tightrope we are on collectively we could tip either way.
So how do we solve it for the sake of the next generation?

2002
The 9-11 Commission is created to study the events leading up to the September 11 attacks and to provide recommendations on emergency preparedness and response. The 9-11 Commission issues its report on July 22, 2004.
2005
A study by the Center for Disease Control reports that the majority of 9-11 survivors continue to suffer from psychological trauma. A May 2006 study prepared for the American Red Cross reports that the majority of people who received therapy after the attacks are still suffering.
May 2006
The newly constructed 7 World Trade Center opens on May 23, the first building to be rebuilt in Lower Manhattan after the September 11 attacks.
Rebuilding the World Trade Center Site
December 2001
A program to restore Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) rapid-transit rail service disrupted by the September 11 terrorist attacks is approved. Planning also is authorized for a permanent World Trade Center PATH Terminal and redevelopment of the World Trade Center site.
February 2002
Work begins at Exchange Place Station in Jersey City, to repair damage and enable restoration of PATH service to the Jersey City waterfront. The Port Authority begins outlining concepts for a downtown transportation hub linking PATH, subway lines, ferry service and areas adjoining the WTC site.
July 2002
Following completion of emergency activities, responsibility and control of the World Trade Center site is transferred from New York City to The Port Authority. The Port Authority begins work on the temporary World Trade Center PATH station.
August 2002
New York Governor George Pataki and New Jersey Governor James McGreevey dedicate a World Trade Center site viewing fence with heroes’ names and other information panels. The first steel column is erected at the WTC site for the temporary PATH station.
