Jane Elliott Interviewed about Donald Trump and the Reality of Racism in the USA

Jane Elliott speaks to Roland Martin about Trump and racism.  She speaks of Trump as a boy grown tall.

I find it interesting to see an African American man interviewing.  It is unfamiliar as all you ever see is white (caucasion) newscasters.  What I would love to see is people of all colours, ethnic backgrounds or religious beliefs as journalists, anchors in the media so we gain a diversity of viewpoints.

I love her comment that denial is not a river in Egypt, one of my favourite statements.

There is a growing movement of unity inclusive of diversity.  White America does not want to face protest and bigotry.  Having a conversation in the public interest is very important.  It is how we educate people.

She speaks about education.  Interesting what she said about 30 years ahead the whites will be in the minority.  This is exactly the same rationale in Israel.  They know the Muslims will outnumber them.  The fear of being a minority, losing power is the core problem.

Fear is false evidence appearing real.  This is a deeper truth.  You cannot fight life, you can only allow it to unfold as tables are turning, times are changing and truth will surface whether this is suppressed or not.  We are one race, the human race and as she says this is a idea whose time has come.  I feel this.

One person can make a difference. I would agree.  People need to get up as she says.  We have to change our behaviours.  Take our power back.  She compares what is happening in the US is similar to the Nazi’s.  Fascism is definitely on the rise.  I can feel it and I have experienced it.

Jane Elliott is not called by the commercial media networks as they do not want to lose sponsors as the truth is not economically profitable it is believed. This is an argument why we need independent media.

She speaks of the Eye of the Storm and puts 3rd graders through an exercise on discrimination.  Moreover, this type of teaching can help with school shootings, gay rights, elder abuse, child abuse and so on.  Empathy is what is being taught here which is a higher intelligence that is a natural part of our psyche which was what enabled humans to live together.  What is unnatural is beliefs that control thoughts and inspire hate.  Negative dysfunction is what sees in a way that seeks power consciously or unconsciously.  I have seen that division very clearly with the issue of terrorism rather than problem solving of violence and the dynamics behind fuelling and funding violence.  Following the money trail is critical for establishing the motive and to resolve this there must be a focus on educating people in conflict resolution, peace education and learning to see through universal values that evoke an awareness that we are ONE.
