Realising the Truth in You Reveals the Truth in Me
This poem is for those who love, leave and remain silent. Your words make a difference.
Sorry is the most powerful word and will change the world.
REALISING THE TRUTH IN YOU REVEALS THE TRUTH IN ME
I sit in the silence,
My dearest friend is inner peace.
I contemplate my life,
My deepest wish is to live in truth.
I reflect on my actions,
My greatest gift was unconditional love.
In a world of peace, truth and love,
There is no abuse,
There is no abandon,
For how can one exclude when differences are accepted?
For how can one remain silent when another has questions?
For the heart rests at the seat of the soul,
And this is the foundation stone upon which your world is constructed,
Without heart and soul one is merely a Role Play,
A detached observer in an unfeeling Role with nothing to say,
Playing games of pretence as a charade,
A zero sum game,
Where in the end true love is never found,
In the deafening sounds of silence.
Sorry appears the hardest word,
Is it an admission of guilt?
Is it a sign of weaknesses or inferiority?
Or is it the realisation of self?
For respons-ability means the ability to respond,
It is the power to respond in-kind,
Uniting the sacred with the sublime,
Sorry has the power to change the world!
Why is sorry powerful?
When shrouded in truth it ends all wars
as the other side is seen,
It bonds all lovers as evergreen,
It joins families together as the seam,
It is the silver chord weaving the invisible thread of our humanity
into sacred geometric patterns encoding harmony as the true unity,
It is camel passing back through the eye of the needle,
Proving the impossible is possible,
For sorry renders the invisible visible,
As empathy blends to speak true words out of love,
For every human has a right to exist,
Sorry is love in its purist form,
When true – it allows the angel of peace to in-form.
Honesty is the greatest courage when facing fear,
For no stone is left unturned when truth is the arrow and the spear,
It chooses prophets over profits,
Reciting ‘to thine own self be true’,
And asking the question,
Is it true?
Why does truth matter?
It is the philosophers stone upon which you chisel out and own your life,
It finds the holy grail of transformation,
It lifts the consciousness onto the winds of real change,
Seeking truth overcomes the rain of pain,
Opening to the sunlight of real hope,
Truth is a shape changer that fits perfectly into humanity’s puzzle,
Re-shaping the big picture,
It is the koan revealing the quizzical peace that fits perfectly reshaping your character,
It is the point of perfection that can only be found in integrity,
It is rolling in the dirt with mud on your face laughing at the mess,
Courage finds the gaps, caverns and pitfalls and jumps – to get up and try again,
For humiliation is being caught in denial knowing it is not a river in Egypt,
To come down to earth is the greatest liberator of real freedom.
So I ask all to come clean,
To speak ones truth with courage,
To release another from silent exclusion,
To love without abandon,
To discover the missing peace,
For when you do you set yourself free,
This frees the world,
From old cobwebs of delusion,
From re-used arguments of deceit,
From the shadow of self-doubt,
From the drought making mirages of illusion
To knowing only love is real.
For the real truth is an elixir of life,
It is alive and active,
It is the clearest conscience in the pond of self reflection,
It is the broadest smile in the sunshine of realisation,
It is the innocent glint in a baby’s eyes,
It is to look in the mirror and fall in love,
For you have forgiven all trespasses,
You have released all guilt,
And this is the clean slate that is the direct line to heaven, nivana or peace,
For you can never be unacceptable when seen through the eyes of true love,
And this is the iris of peace, truth and love that sets all free,
Realising the truth in me.
