To Change the World I Must Change Myself in Reflection of Truth

From your arrogance of superiority
reflects inferiority,
I will remember mine
and choose humility.

From your silence
reflects inner fear,
I will remember mine
and choose to speak up with love.

From your abuse of power
reflects powerlessness,
I’ll remember mine
and choose healthy relationships of mutual respect.

From your cruelty
reflects your pain unexpressed,
I will remember mine
and choose kindness.

From your destructive nature
reflects worthlessness,
I will remember mine
and choose to value all life.

From your coldness
reflects disconnection from love,
I will remember mine
and choose to give love to all.

For love is a free fall,
And I am falling in love with life,
As I fall into the ocean of truth as emersion,
I know I can never drown in the illusion.

My truth is the life raft that carries me sleeping into wakefulness,
As truth is the phoenix rising from the ashes of despair,
To know truth is to love my life and learn the lessons this final time,
Moving from the ridiculous to the sublime,
For every person is my teacher
and life is always kind.

To know in truth:

From the deepest pain
comes the greatest strength.

From the saddest sorrow
emerges the loudest laughter,
As we see the joke of taking the other seriously,
Focusing on what should have been,
Rather than loving ‘what is’,
And life is ‘what is’ loving.

And I am here laughing at my expectations,
Smiling at my heart felt wishes dashed yet again,
For I love life with all of my heart and soul,
For life is who I am it is not a role,
And who I am is a reflection of you … I am told.

For I am changing the World,
For Good,
As I am a reflection of Life as God,
As God (Life) always reflects the good, the holy and the beautiful,
And impresses – how can I see anything less than beauty in your eyes?
For when I look to see you
I see myself.

Yet if I see you as less than a miracle,
I am seeing myself as less than beautiful
in silent retreat,
As the veil of dishonesty falls away …

I can see no evil,
I can hear no evil,
I can speak no evil,
As the mirror image of evil is to live Life.

Truth reveals there is only One diamond in the room,
That reveals many faces,
And every face is a reflection of truth.

For only you can know your truth,
Only I can know my truth.

For when I see myself in life’s heart mirror,
Love reveals what is my true reflection.

For I can only see beauty on reflection,
For I can see me,
In you,
And this is God’s reflection,
as truth.

Mohandas Gandhi
