Giving to Receive and Receiving to Give is the Wheel of Life

This was inspired by a man who I met by chance, who saw what he said was ‘the light of god in me’. He was a Christian who truly wants to work for humanity. He believed in peace for children. This poem goes out to all those who give selflessly with higher thoughts in mind. You make a difference when you help others reach for their dreams, yours will become realised as well. This is what I mean by giving to receive, I receive to give. We all learn that giving is receiving and receiving is giving. We teach others to give as we do, and receiving is important as it accepts the abundance of life.

GIVING TO RECEIVE
I RECEIVE TO GIVE

It is the way in which you give,
That another truly receives,
For faith in peace,
Belief in happiness,
Are the pathways to the future,
And we are paving a new yellow brick road,
That leads all to unity.

The light of god is you,
The light of god is me,
For it is in this light that we are set free,
For there is nothing to fear,
Fear is false evidence appearing real,
For love of humanity is the 7th seal that feels for truth,
That gives without reasons,
That loves the world as it shows up,
For all are reflections of the greater good,
That remembers that we are all one.

To work with children is a privilege,
And it matters not if you are remembered,
For what matters is that you were there,
That you cared,
That you listened to their innocent questions,
Joined in their playful games,
For you were teaching …
Trust,
Patience,
Friendship,
Wellbeing,
Community,
And this is the foundation stone
of real community.

The most important place to start,
Places the horse before the cart,
To ensure they head in the right direction first,
They drink when they thirst,
Are fed when hungry,
For you support their freedom as they explore their ride,
For life is a playground of many colours,
Where some play by the rules,
And some don’t,
But we are always learning who we are,
No matter how we play.

The silent stars are the ones in the background,
A merry-go-round of love and service,
Picking up when falling down,
Helping them along the way,
Listening to allow others to have a say,
Giving hugs as tears stain sad faces
look for comfort,
For this is the comforter of grace,
That is unsung,
But sings life’s song unconditionally,
As a sing along for we are all together,
We are a living symphony of harmony,
That money cannot buy,
I cry as I was touched by your presence,
Indeed the present of who you are,
Was a real gift.

So I say goodbye and thank you,
For making a clown happy,
For each penny goes to a good cause,
For I see myself as first cause,
And the law of attraction,
Is the pied piper whistling for all to follow the fun,
For the world is hollow awaiting the sun,
Of boundless joy,
To en-joy life again,
For all is a god send.

So I send this to you in gratitude
As the highest attitude,
That your gift was received,
With love.
