Life is Your Mirror

We are mirrors,
We are reflections,
Some see an image,
Some look into their own eyes,
For me I am looking in my eyes for truth,
As I don’t care how I appear,
For when I care the world cares,
When I am responsible the world is responsible,
When I show compassion the world is compassionate,
When I am not the world dies in my arms,
When I am stubborn I resist opportunity,
When I am unloving the world no longer loves,
And it appears cold and shallow,
Yet the truth is the world is full of potential,
Your eyes can learn to see the good,
There is no trial you cannot overcome when you try,
For that is the sky of possibilities,
In my dreams.
