The Secret of Life

THE SECRET DREAM

I would like to write a poem for you…
To raise your eyes to a clear blue sky,
To hear the sound of birds,
The wind tickling the leaves,
To feel your dreams floating gently on a fresh breeze.

I give you the key to unlock the secret of life,
To love without condition,
To dream your grandest dreams,
To be unashamed of your feelings,
And to know that you will be alright,
To let love lead you in all struggles,
But never weaken to fight,
To reveal your beautiful jewel,
Sparkling in the sunlight.

For you do not know your own beauty,
For life has distracted your eyes,
You are capable of incredible things,
If you believe you can truly fly.

God, life, nature and truth,
These are the arms of love that are open,
Our deepest spirit is spoken in many tongues,
It is mentioned by many names,
It ignites passions and undying flames,
But it is so gentle,
It sees only one,
A family eternal,
We are all children of the sun.

No way is a better way,
Many paths are beaten to the truth,
With respect for all humanity,
Our crumbling house may have a roof.

True wealth is not in possessions,
It is not in physical beauty,
It is not in a charming tongue,
True beauty is in pure honesty,
And the courage to care,
It is in the moment when you could lie but choose to be fair,
To me the greatest acts,
Are not in famous faces,
They are the diamonds of kindness,
Sprinkled throughout life,
Enriching each moment,
It is the wind beneath your kite,
Allowing you to be,
Free in your own right.
