Dream Weaving a Healthy World

THE DREAM WEAVER

In a healthy world,
All are wealthy,
For joy is the currency of cooperation,
And sorrow is the bankruptcy of loss,
For the real gloss shines on comm-unity,
Coming together for the common good,
And this indeed is a common wealth
Of nations.

Abuse is not functional,
It is a dysfunction,
An arrhythmia,
That reveals that something is not right,
For patterns of abuse are not off-cuts,
They recur in a continuous pattern,
As the nightmare occurs every night,
For there is no light in the dead of night,
As hope dies a thousand deaths,
When abuse is allowed.

The silent treatment,
Is not merely having nothing to say,
It is a deliberate act,
It is not considerate,
There is no compassion for bleeding hearts,
It is the thread that leads you astray,
An unraveling carpet curling in concentric circles,
That silhouettes a negative space,
For when one looks at what is empty
it looms large,
Many will wax lyrical for yarns are crafty,
Yet there is no love song when singing to a different tune,
One can see there is no substance in abuse,
Only a framework convention with no content.

Integrity always seeks the positive space,
To re-evaluate the design,
In order to weave a new pattern,
To ensure it is balanced and in harmony with honesty,
For disorder is chaos,
And chaos is confusing,
Unraveling many carpets,
For the magic of the carpet is the potential
to become a dream weaver,
Where dreams can come true,
And that is what it means to fly,
In the sky of your highest potential.
