Zero Tolerance for Carbon Pricing as Trade

I heard that there was a protest outside Parliament today against the Carbon tax. This news came as I spoke with an academic who is involved in CO2 modelling. He and I talked about the accuracy and he showed me his work mapped from 1850’s. The trend of CO2 was clearly rising. I asked him why the debates in the community when scientists and governments are unified on the reality of climate change. The issue of politics came up and I felt intuitively that this was not in the interests of all people. Instead making visible the vested interests masking opposition as democracy.

I felt moved to write a poem tonight, again just allow the poem to flow. I am always intrigued what I write, as I can assure you I do not plan it. It is more a painting than an opinion, I feel. I learn as I write. Unity always is the constant in my poetry and I see it as the future. Those dissenting the truth are arguing against their own future and their children’s future, in truth they undermine their own life supports. Begs the question why?

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CARBON PRICING AS TRADE

The United Nations Decade of Education
And Sustainable Development 2005 – 2014,
As radioactive carbon 14 dates existence over time,
Uranium 238 returns us to the stone age,
As nuclear fallout cause a chain reaction
Across the earth.

The Scientists Warning to Humanity is not hot air,
It was Nobel to speak the truth,
A call for action outlines an agenda 21,
For the world has come of age,
A moment of responsible stewardship,
Seeks to find common ground on global commons,
For Our Common Future depends on visionaries,
Not political conspiracy theories.

1500 laureates signed a call for sedition,
As a petition for radical change,
That is not recycling,
Or carbon trading,
For we are already paying the price,
As emissions commission earth summits,
Spaceship earth sets a new trajectory,
Infinite growth modeling is a mission impossible,
When natural limits impose a stern report to humanity as a warning sign.

Attempts to bridge the gaps,
From an economic paradigm,
An attempt to price carbon out of existence,
Mitigation is an imperative past the tipping point,
Into a future of feedback loops,
Rumbling, irratic, unpredictable and fierce,
The smog of confusion seeks the clarity of low carbon futures,
Can you see change?
Pricing pollution and greed out of the market,
As externalities impose limits on industries
forecasting profits as limits to growth,
As entropy expresses uncertainty in disorder,
A new earth intelligence arising from E=MC2

How do you green mining?
How do you clean coal?
How is nuclear meltdown safe?
How is melting polar icecaps capping trade?
As catastrophic events are risks not worth taking.

How to cost the chain reaction of earthquakes?
Crashing stock markets and worldviews,
A tsunami of financial and social crisis,
Transforming human landscapes into war zones,
As droughts and floods are the new meteorological cycles,
An El Nino southern oscillation,
Where La Nina and El Nino are opposites,
The masculine and feminine are out of balance,
They are not balancing lows and highs
in a pressurised system,
Locked in battles of extremes,
Revealing the instability is human induced,
For we are weathering change,
Adaptation is the clarion call giving us renewable energy to change ourselves,
For Adam must find eve before the dawn.

The planet is raising the temperature,
The heat is on,
Plate tectonics respond to a harmonic convergence,
Magnetic field oscillations of solar maximums,
Innovates zero tolerance for carbon technologies,
As future free markets favour ecology,
Rather than unfettered profit maximums,
When free energy powers our grid,
Nikola Tesla the inventor of electrical energy,
Returns the world to zero point energy,
In space and time.

Unity is the new quantum theory,
A new wave,
A unified field,
Unifying particles,
As theory manifests into fact,
A reunification of humanity is the pact,
As Gaia is the unconditional love of equals,
And equality is equity,
That rebalances the energy,
Of natural growth,
Finding Gross National Happiness,
As the zero point
Balancing the tipping point,
Of natural justice.
