Don Quxote: Fools Finding the Light in the Darkest Knight
I discovered the wisdom of Don Quixote tonight. I found my light tonight. This is a long poem but what I find is that if I just keep flowing the answer comes, as it did tonight, towards the end. It came together and I found in the surreal what was real, for me.
I will post the story of Man of La Mancha in the next post.
FOOLS FINDING THE LIGHT IN THE DARKEST KNIGHT
There is a bright light,
It shines from neither above or below,
A spotlight pin pointing moments of truth,
A candle in the dark,
Arising from inner sight,
To guide us gently back to centre.
I am discovering there is no evil,
To live is to discover I AM,
From a central sun the fire of life spins,
A world of swirling vibrant energy begins,
The 2nd law of thermal dynamics kicks in,
As energy does not diminish it transfers,
Eternal life,
Eternal love,
What of the covenants?
‘Do unto others as you would have done to yourself”
‘What goes around comes around’
Is this the karma of cause and effect?
What of the butterfly effect?
Is intelligent life definable?
For who or what created DNA?
How does matter hold together?
Does it matter?
Or cluster?
Is it FATE?
From All Thoughts Everywhere?
Or a source thought?
That does not think?
Why does life live to die?
What is life force?
What happens when we force life?
Why is there a space time continuum?
Why is there no time like the present?
For our questions offer the pre-sent,
For as I ask I am answered,
As all exists everywhere.
A world of duality,
Yin and Yang,
Polar opposites,
Contrasting fields,
Internal chemistry that heals,
Sacred insights that reveal,
We live in contradiction and dichotomy,
We live in friction and cacophony,
We are the alpha and the omega,
Yet in order to know good we must experience not good,
To feel happy sadness returns with tears,
To know aloneness one must have formed a group,
For life in-forms each moment with diversity,
For no two entities are the same,
No two moments identical,
Each a new perspective from a kaleidoscope of choices,
For each life is a snowflake,
Breathtakingly perfect,
Unmistakably unique,
Each with a different pathway through obstacles,
To determine the farcical from the real,
For this is the sacred seal that breaks through illusion.
Why is there no evil when harm is caused?
How can that be good?
Robin Hood stole from the rich to give to the poor,
The poor give to the rich to steal a look under the hood,
For every action there is an opposite reaction,
A good deed is contrasted by a bad deed,
For one cannot exist without the other to counter balance,
For duality is the see-saw that rocks one way and then the other,
Yet if evil is in ascendency it means good has hit rock bottom,
If good is in ascendency it means evil has hit rock bottom,
For when one lifts the rock to see what is under the bottom,
One shines a spotlight to find even in the dark – life is teeming,
When one is awake another is dreaming,
Yet the aim is to find the middle path,
The balancing point,
Zero point,
Where movement has ceased,
Stillness suddenly speaks to discover,
I think therefore I am is not to think,
I AM not who I thought I was,
To see-saw is the present looking back,
Awareness illuminates in-sight,
Then energy in motion discovers e-motion,
A feeling state that fragments the colours of the rainbow,
Contrasting fields of good and bad,
Deepening life as one reaches out of extremes,
To meet in the middle,
For this is the riddle to life’s ups and downs,
There cannot be one without the other,
As opposites are the diamonds of contrasting colours.
The jester’s vest is the familial crest of duality,
For sanity can only be found in insanity,
And humour is the levy from which all banks break,
For good ol boys are drinking whiskey and rye,
Singing this will be the day to realise,
The one wore many a disguise,
That lies always lead to truth,
And fools always lead to gold,
And this is the fiddler on the roof,
The man from La mancha,
Cervantes turning darkness into knight,
Discovering Don Quixote was light,
As he dreams the impossible dream
A sudden in-sight reveals …
What was real was a dream,
The eye at the centre of the storm uncovers
the dream was real,
And this is how the surreal is the purveyor of truth.
