The Common Good of Freedom

THE COMMON GOOD OF FREEDOM

Tsunamis of change,

Where every eye looks,

People are re-writing the rule books,

For they are rising up like the phoenix,

In movements of change,

Where compassion leads humanity,

By the heart,

And the chains of control fall away,

decoupling the ramparts,

As the fortresses of kings and barons,

Face another Magna Carta,

A global charter,

That rejects divisions of strata,

In favour of egalitarian title.

Of which all are entitled to.

It is miraculous to watch this happening,

Some occupy,

Some prefer to face books,

Others twitter in real time,

Becoming media savvy,

Is the levy that breaks,

As the invisible masses see what is in common,

As this becomes visible,

For this is not a monster,

Or a shadow puppet,

There is no head,

Nor tale,

No start

nor end date,

But there is an endgame,

For this is a juggernaut of change,

That is unstoppable.

The Kony’s of the world must change,

Children are not commodities to be exchanged,

To be used and abused,

They are the future,

Looking back,

For we must go back to the future,

for peace and reconciliation,

As the pre-sent

The children do not want to live,

They see no responsibility to protect or give love,

They see no rights for the child,

They can’t see the dove,

As they are on the run from the adults shadow,

Egos that know not justice,

For they are the children of tyranny,

And many can see this is the insanity,

That many consider normal.

So we are indeed in exciting times,

Comets of tales are being told every night,

New news is gathered on drift nets of human desire,

For all want to connect,

All want to belong,

All want to be strong,

For we have a common bond,

Which is good,

In the futures of freedom.
