Returning to Canberra
Well I left Melbourne and knew that time was completed. I caught the bus. Funny how all my bussing around Central and South America made me so open to catching a bus. In Australia we drive everywhere. However, I like to do different things, change the experience.
I arrived in Canberra and my step father picked me up from the Jollimont Centre. Should call it the jolly mont centre. I like that better.
My mum greeted me at her house. She is on a walking stick at the moment as her hip is going to be replaced. She is a strong woman and doesn’t seem fragile even though she is hobbling. She doesn’t complain and finds the stationary orbit she is in is forcing her to read more and do less. This is a miracle in disguise. Mum is like a dynamo, I call her the site foreman, as Glen her husband responds to her directives. He is a really sweet guy, not negative except when mum drives him to that edge. He is really amazing I remember him telling me once he went to a workshop. He is plumber so probably once I guess. Anyway, people were asked to lie on the floor and resist anyone pulling their body open (closed position). Like in the fetal position. Anyway, apparently when it was Glen’s turn he just flopped allowing his body to be moved. He felt no resistance, he said he feels no fear. I really like that. He works really hard around the place and he enjoys it. Mum is the motivator it is quite interesting to watch them work as a team.
I am catching up with friends whilst here and it turns out mum wants to buy me a car. I had to laugh to myself as I asked the universe (as they say) well if I am to have a car, someone has to give me one (don’t have money). My mum suddenly comes into money and it is her idea. That is how life works, something amazing happens when you choose to observe and learn from this magical world. I no longer see myself as the one who controls my life, I am more aware of really just being part of watching the journey unfold. When you come into this type of space it is really interesting. I am still living out of a suitcase, still I don’t have a home, but in a way I don’t mind as I love change.
My older brother and I spent some time together, he is a wag, always stirring. He is very intelligent I was noticing and a business person, always creating. He is like mum in lots of ways. So I spent the night at his place telling him about my journey and my spiritual life which he has trouble getting, but I don’t really expect him to. You have to know things in your own experience. We had a nice time together and I am getting to know him better. We had a lot of time apart.
I caught up with my clown buddy Carole yesterday, she and I used to clown together at Canberra hospital. She is a wonderful woman and is in the area of glass blowing to make beads and jewellery. She is really good at it and told me it is creative meditation. I like that. She finds a stillness and peace in the work, she is now teaching. How wonderful. She is a great energy and when you find yourself with her you are naturally uplifted. I showed her my presentation of clowning around the world and she really liked it. We talked about my health a bit and she took me down to the doctors. I got a scripts and will knock over this cold. Usually I am not into doctors but I know I have to work in Sydney so I have to get well.
Today I am off to see my younger brother so that will be nice. I feel a new path opening up for me for sure. I am just going to go with the flow and see where life takes me. I am going to do more inner work in myself but also step back from the peace work for a time, allow life more. It will be a holiday in my journey.
I love this life, it is truly remarkable. I am so glad I had the courage to venture out of my comfort zone and really experience life fully.
Make your day great, don’t just have a great day, intend it.
