My Genuine Desire for Peace in Reality

MAKING LOVE IN THE OPEN

I am your wife,
I am your daughter,
I am every woman you have known,
I am the seeds you have sown,
I am the actions you do not own,
I am the love that is true,
For I always knew you.

Deep in my heart I felt recognition,
An inspiration of a familiar friend,
That words cannot explain,
Yet through the pain I found the truth of love,
Is as rare as seeing the world in a grain of sand,
Yet profound as the sky of ancient wisdom,
For love is grounded without a sound,
For it is better to love and lose utterly,
Then never to feel love at all,
And whilst I did fall and hurt myself,
I do not regret my inquiry,
Or desire for genuine peace,
For this is the treaty I always seek,
And to find in time was always mine,
in reality.

For the strength I found is beyond words,
It resides in my silence,
My determination to know myself is my quest,
I seek to do my best,
And so many times I find no response,
Or lack of interest,
Or indifference to my needs,
I keep trying to plant seeds of love,
That perhaps one day will grow,
As one comes to know,
The love that is freedom from fear,
That allows a tear to soften the hard shell,
For that is the hell many live in these days,
For they are so afraid to make love in the open,
For they are not in control of their role,
As all boundaries disappear in pure unison,
As you can free fall without resistance,
For loves persistence is not to bind,
It is given in-kind in order to see,
The truth of you and me,
That sets us free,
To live happily,
Together or apart,
For love is the start,
Of the real life,
That is meaning-full.
