Are Your Words True?
I say frequently in poetry ‘the truth will set you free’, as I am always inspired to mention this. It means to find your own truth, and that will always feel like love, joy and truth. They interchange constantly, for when you are in alignment with truth you feel the happiness and joy, the tears run down your face as you know. It is always the extension of love.
TRUE WORDS
Only true words are beautiful,
Beautiful words are not always true,
True contact comes from an honesty,
Which cannot be concealed,
It urges to be revealed,
So that you can see,
What is so.
The truth will set you free,
Is carried forth as the mantra
Of past times,
Framed as parables of inspiration,
Lived as a living word,
In a living world,
Awakening to the horizon,
of real hope.
Yet is it really heard,
Over the noise of news and sitcoms,
As we can varnish what we mean,
We can gloss over what we feel,
We pretend we do not feel,
When feeling is the essence,
That is the delightful fragrance,
Of who we truly are,
and you are truly beautiful
as you are.
