Australian Politician Promotes Love

I love this short video by Wayne Clayton where he is promoting love in politicians. Bob Brown was the former head of the Australian Greens and has left politics now. He is indeed a person promoting love a revolutionary act in a world devoid of that ‘L’ word unless it is romantic.

I interviewed Bob on radio and I have to say when I spoke up, chuffed that someone had given me a signed copy of his book, he looked back and the only way I could describe his look was angelic. I recall attending one of his talks on his final tour announcing his departure from politics, I stood up and told him that story. I saw him as an angel and still do. You can tell when people are born for great tasks, he was one of them.

So Wayne was quick to capture a moment from Bob Brown. He has promoted optimism and happiness as well as he realised we must remain positive about the world otherwise we lose our power. He was wise there and had great integrity. His love was standing up for the environment during the Franklin Dam dispute from 1979, he was head of the Wilderness Society, this stand for love propelled him into politics. Love of course is a powerful energy that shares, cares, stays, reveals and heals. It is to be promoted and lived if we want a world that survives.
