The Division of Service to Self

Overnight I had another insights in respect of the dichotomy of left and right.  The duality of the world divides into two camps essentially.  One is service to self the other is service to others.  This the contrast, the tension that creates innovation.  Traditionally the left was cast in the light of Marxism which really was just organisation of the proletariat given suffering due to low or no empathy of the ruling elites. The organisation was for rights as their needs were not met.  This translated into socialism, communism which is really about collectivism on behalf of the common people.  On the right it is traditionally reflective of the ruling class, business class, royalty and leadership.  The underlying belief is entitlement to rule as a birth right. With privilege access is given to wealth.  It is about service to self or self interest which translated into superiority.  This is what birthed inequality and unrest.  Now this is not to say there are not elements in the left that are service to self and elements on the right that are service to others, there is.  It is more the prevailing mindset that defines identity.

Another dimension of this duality is gender.  Typically women reflect service to others and men reflect service to self. This is to do with raising children and sacrificing for others.  The brain is wired right and left hemispheres which is why women tend to be more emotional, spiritual or religious, this is an inner orientation of sensing the emotional landscape. It becomes a neural pattern that is passed on for generations. The males are wired left brain which orientates to linear, focused, compartmentalised and outward identification. Rivalry is about boundaries and I would perceive it as territorialism as a ancient code motivating men. They are action oriented. So similar to the left/right dichotomy the sexes and political genders have experienced this same tension.

Again, there are females that are right brain oriented and males that are left brain. These males can be rejected by other men as they appear ‘feminine or soft’.  This is perceived as weak given females are physically weaker. So a belief in superiority arose which was the birth of inequality.

Can you see the pattern of division across the planet?  When superiority arises ‘I am smarter, more beautiful, cultured, status’ you must be less.  That is the grievance that has not been resolved.  The powerlessness arises when on some silent level, their is agreement that this is the state of play.  One is superior the other inferior.

So this tension culminated into us against them and centuries of conflict.  I believe today we are on the precipice of great change where we transcend out of traditional tensions and move into a higher awareness that what we do to others returns to the self,  you are me, we are one family literally (species system), equality is opportunity, what you think about you bring about etc.

It is time to heal traditional rivalries and inequities to work for the higher good of our planet which is dying.

It is to unite the polarities, perhaps a future pole shift mirrors that change as extremes weaken.

Something to consider.
