Child Abuse is not Love

This is a poem I wrote in response to learning of ritual abuse of children.  I regard it as the dominance over innocence. It is a mental health issue where there is no empathy towards the child.  The child is seen as an object.  The same applies with sexual abuse or harassment.  Objectivisation is at the centre of this where the humanity in that child is not seen.  That is how abuse happens.

Love is the answer.
