BBC Speechless as Trader Tells Truth about Greed

Can people profit from economic crash’s and downturns?  This trader makes clear the reality of how they think and their intentions.  They are trained and rewarded by the notion of ‘greed as good’.  This is the basis of profit making.  The traders dream about it.  Key question is – is greed good?

Greed is the religion of business that is normalised and rewarded.  This is where power is located.  This is the belief in materialism with no connection to inner power or enough (need equals want). This is where a person learns to look outside themselves to find security, status, acclaim, sex, drugs and the perception of success. Secrecy behind closed doors is a feature of this world.

When there is a crash people start to say this is not a real world.  Some say ‘get real’.  What is real- Responsibility, empathy, awareness and love.  How do we create a solid future – hope – honesty, oneness, peace and enjoyment.  This is my model entitled ‘REAL HOPE’.  This is the real power that sustains the planet.  Greed as making money (plastic, paper currency) circulates in a economic world that has no connection to the humanity and natural order.  There is a belief that people need jobs, that we must keep the economic system as the panacea.  However, the pursuit of profit is what inspires greed not service.  This is a foundational error in our activity.  It has no conscience, no compassion and no sense of shared responsibility, it is all about self interest. A notion that was birthed around the industrial revolution.  Today we are at a point where it is evident this type of system is out of balance (homeostasis) with the planet and it is a trading game to the bottom in my view.
