BBC Documentary The Great Crash

There is the philosophy of Thomas Hobbes who states the law of tooth and claw which reflects a aggressive, ruthless approach to the international order.  The libertarian John Locke espoused liberalism, human rights, civil approaches in the international order. When values are inherent in the training of business people then we can orient towards Locke.  If we reward people who are unethical then we orient towards Hobbes.  The business community has to choose between these approaches.  One will ensure international stability.

Note consumerism and credit creation.  What belies this is self gratification (self interest) and it birthed greed.  What have we seriously learned as a civilisation?

Mohandas Gandhi

“Only as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go, only as deep as I look can I see, only as much as I dream can I be.”
