Life is a Mirror – Fears Coming Up – Who Are You?
I just felt to allow the words to flow.
I had a realisation as I study the Law of One, fears must come up at this time for people to really face themselves. We as a global community live normally in denial of our discrimination’s, prejudices and resistance to diversity. We decide if we like this, we don’t like that, many judgements are promulgated around. The media defines the conversation and adds opinion pieces fuelling the dichotomy of what is right and what is wrong. The world divides on these two words or sentiments. We all know that when people speak words that everyone agrees with there is a nod as they access the beliefs they are taught and socially accepted. We feel better when we are in the majority or on the side of what is right. All seek approval so they belong and feel secure.
So is life about living in a way that is right as defined by social norms and education? What if we shifted it to ‘what serves us and what does not’. What if, we have to experience what we are not in order to find out who we really are? What if life is more akin to a school of lessons, we see what hurts and what doesn’t. Through our experiences we are forced to ask questions, in extreme cases challenge our own worldview as we can see it doesn’t feel good or great fear arises. Like the small child learning that a hot stove hurts, do we leave our hand on the stove to feel the pain or pull it off and learn not to touch it? We learn through experience rather than television. Although television and the cyber reality may feed us with notions of right and wrong and a range of judgements. What if we are here to re-member who we truly are?
What if in the moment of your greatest trial is your greatest triumph? What if we are now looking into the mirror and not liking what is seen? Is it the school yard bully, the bigot, the sexist? what is the archetype coming up that is deeply feared evoking powerlessness? I believe the United States and other countries are looking into their fear and having to face it. Does half the population say 100 million leave the US as it no longer is a statement of who they are or do they embrace the very democracy they have touted in many wars as the real freedom? Is war freedom from fear? Is fighting freedom from fear? Is prejudice freedom from fear? Is keeping them out freedom or insecurity? Is building walls going to keep people in or out? Does destroying enemies change thinking? Is material wealth the real success? Are people really happy?
So yes a time of shake up globally. The very icon’s of progress, strength, democracy and winning are being shaken up. Who has not gone through challenges to find after the dust settles the kernel of wisdom emerges. Sometimes the very tower we construct believing we have come up trumps is the one, like the Tower card in the tarot, that throws us out of our false sense of security, it forces us to face another world of our own making and decide. I believe teachers come in many forms, that is why I always look at the dynamics, what flushes up, as that is the real issue, the fears that drive attitudes and behaviour. You cannot force anyone to change but you can inspire change by your own example. You can indeed feel peace in a war zone if you trust there is something about life you do not know, the knowing of which changes everything. We constructed a world in our own image and we seem unable to stop our destruction of the planet. The Paris Conference doesn’t go anywhere near what is needed to harmonise with the natural world. The big question is really in – how do we live in a way that harmonises with natural systems? If we truly address this question then the entire money system has to be reviewed as it rewards greed, insecurity and false needs with products that are increasingly poor in quality and low in price. Built in obsolescence is a strategy to ensure more sales so the manufacturer, retailer can make more profits and the consumer has to buy more. As greed is rewarded, deals become more normal, the ends justifying the means as the modus operandi we move further away from who we really are. It does not favour balance and harmony which is the real wealth of sustainability.
The true nature of humans is to give to each other. We are a very loving species. Yet that love is slowly eroded by adults, education, television and life as children learn to be fearful. Their true nature is fearless and very sweet. They innocently look at the world not in judgement but in curiosity. They discover a world growing before their eyes as they simply look to see. They play with things in order to learn motor skills and to take life lightly as a playroom, which is what it truly is, even for adults. We all lose the art of play which is not child like but our true nature. Many drink alcohol or take drugs to get that high that comes naturally from the memories of childhood. People subconsciously want to return to a place of no responsibility, of being care-free, to just laugh and enjoy the beauty of this amazing life. But then the dark shadow of ego, fear, ignorance casts across the innocent face increasingly seeing what is wrong, what they shouldn’t do, what is naughty as a means of social control. Rather than just allowing the play, discovery and guiding a child gently. They are deeply sensitive and they absorb every fear of adults. Without realising it they take on their parents world views and then grow into the image of their god’s. That is why education is the place to create the real change for our world to return to what is natural for all of us. No – it is definitely not the law of tooth and claw, it is the world of cause and effect and the law of attraction which is essentially attracting to us what we fear or love. The reason love becomes so important in the future is because that is sustainable, fear is destructive naturally. The energy of fear breaks down, we see that with illness and hospitals. The energy of love unites, seeks peace, is in harmony and looks for the good. When you feel this energy you will naturally seek to resolve. Empathy is balanced within and you will feel other people rather than find ways to avoid facing your own dishonesty. Dishonesty is subtly learned by the population. We see it in advertising, we see adults lie, we hear speeches and learn from friends and others the untruth that is spoken. So that is why truth is important, it makes clear ‘what is’. The highest truth is to admit you don’t know anything, it is the highest as we can’t possibly know who or what created us, this planet and solar system and beyond. So those who deeply explore truth they barely know the reality behind their material existence.
So to summarise the fears are coming up at this time for a purpose. The time is one of facing the pain and healing. It is a global phenomenon. We have lived in systems and structures that are out of harmony with the planet and ourselves. Essentially we are living in a lie and calling it the real world. The real world is our true nature and it is about sharing, caring, revealing and healing. Love and fear are the two polarities that have structured our existence and we are at a choice point to choose who we are. Are we in fear and dividing from the world? Or are we choosing love to come together? The greatest strength is to stand alone in your own truth. We are One. The situation we face is akin to the Tower card in the tarot which symbolises the collapse of structures. It is a forced shock where we have no choice but to deal with the shock and after the dust settles examine our real truth which was always present beyond the drama of our materialistic egoic life. Shocks are hear to awaken us to who we really are. We have created systems of greed and insecurity which has brought about apparatus’s of security to keep out what is not wanted, yet the more we push against this the more we attract it as is the nature of the law of attraction. There are universal laws that operate regardless of human belief systems. The facing of fear rather than running away is important in order to learn lessons. We are here to learn who we are it is not a matter of right and wrong it is about what serves us and what does not. It is to open the mind to the possibility there is something we may not know that the knowing of which could change everything. Like the innocent child our natural bounty was really akin to this state of being. It is to look upon the world in innocence without judgement. It is about being curious and exploring the world in a state of play, or a state of grace where we live in the moment. We are fearless. Yet as wise guardians of this planet we guide rather than force for it is not our job to control the destiny of others but rather lead by example.
So there is much to learn. Some will learn others will not. All is as it should be. All is a co-creation of all for the greater good. We need to travel through who we are not in order to re-member who we really are. This is the way of life. It is the way and the life.
If you truly believe in democracy and peace, then the way opens, naturally. Our purpose is to be happy.
Peace and love to you.
