Byron Katie: Paris Bombings – Is it True?
The Work of Byron Katie is most definitely going to challenge humanity. If you can perhaps look at The Work in terms of examining your own inner world not the event you saw on television, although the pictures on the screen are similar to the ones in your mind. The reality is that it is not happening to you right now and it is the fear that is creating the war within which sets up energetically a less peaceful world. For example you may feel negative when you see Muslims, yet in reality they are just walking past doing nothing to you. You may look at them and believe them to be terrorists. That in truth, is in your mind, it is a belief that is unquestioned, yet these people walk past peacefully.
The challenge with The Work is to get clear on our inner fears. We are questioning them to stop all war. It is done on paper. I have found that there is a deep wisdom in The Work and that we do have our own truth within. This is one of the ways that can free humanity from its stress and fear about a future that doesn’t exist.
I remember working as a market analyst, I used to interview hundreds of people. It was fascinating to see the different world views in each person. WE could talk about the same issue yet every person would see it differently. I realised they are filtering what is being seen by their experience, beliefs, personality, personal needs, emotions and so on. So no two people see the same is what I realised. They are coming from inner worlds projecting outwards. I also know as a market analyst that the media doesn’t do a random sample of events in the world and give a clear picture of what is happening. If it bleeds it leads tends to be a modus operandi. It is not about bringing confused/warring parties together to find peace and higher learning (growth) in the experience, typically it is to use fear to sell media. Given the intent is not love I don’t expose myself to the media. It is not the world, it is the world of those who put the pictures together and I see much suffering in their world. I know now they haven’t questioned their thoughts.
When I heard about the Paris bombings, I heard from a person. I don’t watch television as I am deciding what I put into my consciousness. I am not filling myself with fear. Yes I would agree violence feels terrible, however, I am not choosing to vibrate fear and anger towards groups of people. I am a peace maker so I am staying centred on loving all people. They clearly would be confused if they think violence will bring them happiness. In the short term they may get small gains but overall they won’t, as their inner world is not at peace. No amount of money, control or power is going to give them the peace and love they are really hungering for. If I feel inspired to look into issues I have a look and investigate who is driving the fears, I look for the money trail and agendas. I see the old power and control structures at work with a different face. I don’t dwell there though. So I then go into myself and work on what inspires me. I am writing a book at the moment on bullying or peace? So I return to my book and I start to go through my REAL HOPE program offering excerpts to readers. I feel the beauty and empowerment of my own work and I know that writing the book will send out understanding, awareness and peace to a world believing the world is bad. I don’t see that in my world. I have the most beautiful life. I ride my bike, I talk to all people (including Muslims), I make sure I send out the peace as an example. I allow life to live me and I watch it unfold in fascination. I am realising that there is magic in living in the flow of life and realising that my world is peaceful. That doesn’t mean I feel indifferent to other’s suffering, I don’t take it on as my own, I feel for them but I put my energy into what I value, living peace. That is how I remain happy.
So here is an interview between Byron Katie and a person who has contacted her by Skype talking about the fears around the Paris bombing.
I would like to add there is nothing to fear but fear itself. Fear is false evidence appearing real. Even out of horrendous events such as the WWII, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights emerged, so good can come from negative events. Often those are not reported in the media. So people only get a tiny sensational sound byte and believe this is true. Is it true?
