I love the World.
LET GO OF THE LIFE RAFT
The river of life is flowing rapidly,
I am the leaf that has fallen from the tree,
For the time is right to change the season
And as I float I am able to feel the current,
For there is a sea of love that is intangible,
But real,
Masked yet revealed,
And I am able to feel the smiling faces,
Behind tired eyes.
The world is a stage and we are all actors,
This is true,
We hear the jokes and laugh,
Yet some people cry,
And when we see the joke is really me,
That the sea is joking in the wind of my turmoil,
The people laugh,
For the joker cries,
The jester realises,
The joke of truth,
And the truth is the king that walks naked.
Yet I am the river unchanging,
Unchanged,
By the currents, the rain and the sunshine,
For my destiny is to flow,
To sea,
To watch,
To grow,
For the seasons are the change,
Life appears strange,
When one doesn’t look to see,
For many are out to sea,
Drifting,
Yet I have found my way back to solid ground,
And this is the place of change,
Without resistance,
Birth and death,
Without repentance,
For we are not in control,
We are simply passengers,
And we can decide the quality of the journey,
But letting go of the life raft,
For it is our fear that brings danger,
It is our joy that sets the sails for adventure,
And I am following this rhythm,
For my ship is traveling to new worlds,
And my hope is that you will join me,
And smile, sing and play,
For I am the love of your life,
And loving the world,
Is my only pay
