Permaculture Centres Around The World

This is a great sustainability initiative that highlights what it means to act locally and think globally, to help local people to manage Permaculture Centres and receive education.  Bill Mollison was the creator of Permaculture and former CSIRO Scientist who had an inspiring story of his insights into the future.  He is indeed a visionary able to see how harmony with nature works.  When I reflect on how much he has done to assist the third world to ensure food security is met, it is enlightening and refreshing to see an organisation working to ensure the true needs of people are met in ecologically balanced processes.  In a sense it is companion planting humans and ecology. I like the sound of that!

Permaculture is an initiative whereby private organisations and governments can get involved and expand the benefits to people across the world. As this will be needed to deal with ecological collapse under the present modus operandi. Local Governments in particular are ideally suited to work towards peace with nature and assist people to get started.
