Opening Your Eyes to Reality Disables Fear

OPEN YOUR EYES TO REALITY DISABLES FEAR

To open your eyes,
Is to stop and pause,
To cease the busyness,
To disable fear,
That has a grip,
That has a hold,
That plays it safe,
That pays the bills,
That has no time for thrills,
As the familiar feels for what is known,
In a world unknown,
To billions.

An imagined community,
A philosophy of curling thought forms,
To inform pictures of conjecture,
To postulate prioris of possibility,
To sketch charcoal stories,
Coining the memorable phrase,
But what does wisdom look like?
Can you feel the contour of endless depth?
Residing within, outside, over and above the written word,
For wisdom is beyond this dimension,
It is the silent hand that gently touches yours,
It is the look of softness to see if you are okay,
It is the friend that is a stranger in disguise,
Who stops to notice and reach out,
For in this moment the world has changed,
The possible futures rearranged,
And one has selected the change they wish to see,
Contexualised in this moment.

I am traveling outside of the box,
For I no longer see a box,
The ocean in which I swim is endless,
I see the life as appearing boxed in all sides,
I am seeing rigid structures of thinking unquestioned,
As floating thought forms become dogma,
As repeated mantras must be truth,
As rote education reinforces the structure not the content,
From each thought a world is seen,
Just imagine the world of the unseen,
Without thought,
This is the nirvana that knows not what it does,
and within that
there is freedom.

When one is busy,
One is bound,
When one is thinking,
One is distracted,
For only thoughts are seen,
Feelings attach or detach,
As belief is the carrier pidgeon of an imagined world,
For life is thought of as business as usual,
As uncontrolled change brings up our greatest fears,
That we may be wrong,
How to relearn uncertainty and doubt?
That the footing is not so sound on this cliff,
For only fools step off without looking,
Or perhaps you are treading water to keep afloat,
To find the sand is constantly shifting,
As the great ocean conveyor is a new current,
As the winds of change come,
But from which direction does this new wind blow?
The Tsunami of change is the still wind that blows,
From all directions.

It is time to return to first principles,
To undo what is learned,
To create a new Oodnadatta track,
To return to the outback on roads less travelled,
To pull out the back pack and find this new road,
For when you step out of cold comforts,
When you step through into another zone,
When you are all alone,
The silent silhouette of reality,
Comes to you as clarity,
Forming a rainbow serpent that leads you home.

The pot of gold was never in money,
It was always the alchemy Of love,
For gold is just a base metal to be traded,
Glittering ingots or ignorance
Not petals of awareness,
Yet the centre piece was the open flower,
As natures encrusted creation is ready to shine,
A crowning glory of a life in perfection,
A showcase of crystalline symmetry,
For when one moves beyond words,
And questions life as itself,
The illusion of self deception fades,
Like a mist before the morning sun,
For the light of understanding knows what is real,
As it always heals illusion,
For there is nothing to do but be here now,
And that is the purpose of who you are,
In this time of great change.

For life moves, sings and dances through you,
And your life is never in doubt,
As you are part of this diamond that is a sun set,
Brilliant colours remembering each new day,
As your eyes sparking with joyful recognition,
That there is no more suffering in this story,
As the story will soon end,
As it was never true,
For always there are happy endings,
As the beginning of the real life is limitless,
As truth displays simple ease and grace of what is,
Without reason or long diatribe,
In the sunlight of your smile is simplicity,
That has walked a thousand miles,
Lived a thousand lives,
That knows the soul of every journey,
As the journey is to know the soul
of life.
