Virtues are the making of the man, it is not in status or money or power, it is the quality of character that I admire in men. I look forward to a time when this is the norm, not a special person but the way of our humanity.

MY DREAM OF MAN-KIND

There are some that walk the talk,
there are others that talk,
there are some that are fair,
others don’t care,
there are some that share,
others that take away,
some that make you smile,
others that make you cry,
some that speak the truth,
others consistently lie,
for this is seen in the darkness of his eyes.

I seek the man that values responsibility,
who has the ability to respond,
he who values intelligence over tenure,
he who responds rather than reacts,
he who answers when called,
he who believes in a world of justice,
he who looks for your integrity,
rather than your body type,
a man of real vision,
rather than reasons why he can’t,
he who aims to change the world
into a place of respect, joy and truth,
who doesn’t sit and do nothing,
but speaks out and says his truth
with courage,
this is the man-kind of my dreams,
He is a kind man dreaming.
