My Storm

I feel to share my own storm. As I believe the outer world is a reflection of the inner world. I feel my world and the greater world as seamless as I am nature itself. My own storm lead me to enlightenment. When you feel the pain you really start to look hard at your life and what you truly want, it becomes a wake up call. I had many of those, eventually I found that I was the source of love. That was when I saw my true power. So our difficulties are part of the path that leads us home. Blessings in disguise.

MY STORM

This feels like a long road,
That has no ending,
So many cross roads,
Where I can’t see my direction,
So desperately I look for the high road,
But the low road takes me down,
For the horizon has faded,
Behind the mountains of my dreams.

Always your friend,
As my heart is aching,
For it is tired,
It cries to the moon,
To enlighten my life,
But my moon is no longer full,
It is a mere crescent,
For there are two ways out of this street,
Yet I am driving up and down,
Unable to see my exit,
For I don’t know how to leave.

The darkness of your moon,
Eclipses the sun of my heart,
For I feel your darkness,
As it silently crosses my heart,
It makes no sound,
It feels as if my day is night,
Sound…asleep,
For darkness feels black,
For I can’t see the light in your shadow,
As my spirit lies in ruins,
Awaiting a new home.

It is not in rejection,
It is not in the absence of romance,
It is not in need,
That I call you tonight,
It is in the darkness,
That I can’t find my way,
I can’t see why I must be kept in the dark,
Locked away,
My calls unanswered,
As if a prisoner,
As if I have committed a crime,
Yet it was a crime of passion,
It was not a fashion statement,
It was real,
Yet I feel as if love is the illusion,
A cruel joke,
For it plays me,
But I hear no love song,
For I don’t belong in this drama,
I cannot play,
For abuse of trust,
Is the rust,
Formed from the ocean of my tears,
Wearing away the golden cup,
As it floweth over.

Salt water keeps me thirsty,
Craving for more,
Yet I will never be given,
For the treasure chest is empty,
In poverty there is nothing to give,
The world takes everything from you,
Yet my last tear I give,
For your face is the shiny diamond,
That shakes and glimmers,
The value is in my pain,
For you are meaningful,
As if to no-one else,
To me your life had a meaning,
I gave meaning to your life.

My ship is blown by the wind of my path,
My inner strength is my raft,
That carries me sleeping,
Into the heart of innocence,
Rocking gently in the cradle of fate,
Carrying me further,
For my treasure is buried deeply in my heart,
It can’t be stolen,
The map of life’s journey rolls on,
It ends where it starts,
I am love I seek no gain,
I have no designs on my chart,
This course challenges my terrain,
I just follow like an innocent child,
And now I’ve seen your smile,
So radiant and warm,
Such a beautiful gift,
To hold in my storm.
