Holding the US Government to Ransom?

The insecurity of credit enables us to borrow more than we need and need more than we can borrow.  The economic system needs credit to keep functioning.  Power politics is about winning.  When will the bottom line become ethics and values?  I am waiting still, I am still waiting.
