Change the World You See

Enlightened self interest. Interesting words. They used these words in the Warning to Humanity. I spoke of it in my musing on the Club of Rome. What are you afraid of? What if I was to say to you fear is false evidence appearing real. How would you approach your life and the world’s life. For as you change, the world changes. There is a ripple effect. How do you know to make a change? what you are thinking, doing or having doesn’t represent or support who you are, what you believe in. What change do I speak of? any that promotes love, joy and truth. To be to do to have reverses the paradigm. Being is not doing. To BE the change is the foundation to the new future which will come.

CHANGE THE WORLD YOU SEE

The happiness you seek,
Awaits your smile,
It welcomes you home.

The daisies are laughing,
As the summer breeze sings gently,
They sway in unison,
A union of golden pathways,
Lead you to the gate of freedom.

The stars and the moon,
Are reminders that the past is gone,
Yet the memory lives on,
For memories are pathways,
Neutral networks capture signals,
Repeating messages reinforce,
For patterns are automatic,
They are thoughtless,
For beliefs carry old ideas,
For new ideas are seldom carried.

We are patterns,
We are interwoven conditions,
For emotions set the lines,
To cross the lines evokes emotions,
For it is not you I am afraid of,
I am afraid of myself,
For I must live with my fear,
And I am afraid of fear,
So I avoid it.

Did you know the world is neutral,
The world is innocent,
The other is innocent,
Yet we frame the picture,
We choose the colours,
We see our landscape,
Is it depressed?
Or an mountain peak,
Is it stormy weather?
Or the sunrise of new hope,
Whatever the climate,
We decide if it is a good day,
Or bad,
We decide if we are happy
Or we are sad,
We are the masters,
We are the inventors,
We create the picture,
For the sillouette,
Is me.

To take responsibility means,
To participate,
To participate means,
To be a part of the whole,
For when one chooses to become involved,
It becomes personal,
For we are self interested,
We are interested in the self,
We feel it is part of us,
Therefore, we choose,
And that is our power,
That is a decision,
That changes the world,
You see.
