Are Men Remembering Their Birthright?

MEN ARE REMEMBERING THEIR BIRTHRIGHT

What happened to our world?
When did it lose its soul?
Where was the beginning of isolation?
And the end of family?
What happened to the helping hand?
That gave without thinking,
What happened to those in need?
Welcomed home with warm soup and friendship,
What happened to those lonely?
Finding understanding in a kind face
rather than walking past,
Pretending not to see,
What if that was me?

Where are the men who stand for love?
Who can sit and listen to grievances of this world,
Without seeing an enemy,
Or needing to fight,
Or win,
Who know that an eye for an eye,
Only makes the whole world blind,
And that the real man is the kindness shining,
In your beautiful eyes.

Where are the men who know integrity?
Standing on principle!
Those who can be touched by suffering?
Shed a tear without recoiling in fear,
Where are the men who can express great love with passion?
Whispering an unending song in my ear as a lover,
Tickling my nose,
Holding my hand,
Symbolising the rose,
A best friend,
Creating a new life that sends,
Infinite possibilities from the heart that blends ,
I await for this man,
To come home.

These men,
Will take centre stage,
They will see the cage of our own making,
And with the torch of freedom a new way is alighted,
As the hermit holds the lantern high for all to see,
He cautions the path of wisdom is to be followed,
As he feels the breeze of change is in the air,
Renewable global citizens care,
These are the men have seen the agenda of their gender,
Losing its way on the rocks of alcoholism,
The shards of ambition,
Crashing on the rocks of stock markets,
As markets dive and plunge,
Many have jumped out of windows,
Hooking their wagon to this cart,
By putting the horse before the cart was the art,
Looking aimlessly for celebrity as better than zero,
To find the real hero,
Stays at home,
Looking after his family and friends.

These men will be the way showers,
Shedding light in the darkness of our world,
Igniting community,
Rebuilding homes around children,
Absorbing the real meaning of philosophy,
Enjoying the love of sharing,
And sharing their love,
Discovering peace of mind,
Is no mind that realises peace,
Letting go and letting life,
Remembering his birth right,
As he comes of age,
A new age,
Experiencing the revolution of evolution,
On a spiral pathway,
Reaching for the stars
