SPARKLING WEB OF LOVE

He spun his love as light and exquisite,
as the finest spider web,
falling on me as gently as snow dust,
or the softest touch of butterfly’s wings,
the change too deep love was only faintly detected,
the depth of the change profound and irresistable,
as I am wrapped in the sparkling chiffon of layers,
of my lover’s coocoon of deep affection.
