Re-Birthing A New Day

RE-BIRTHING A NEW DAY

Today is the day of my birth,

A journey from the moment of conception,

A celebration without expectation,

A moment of frivolous fun,

Looks like I won a ticket to planet earth,

As the universe of consciousness merged into one,

Evolving from a single celled amoeba,

Genetically engineered from the blueprint of humanity,

I am made by design,

I am created yet I evolve,

Yet I forget who I AM?

My heart beats in a placenta of rhythms and sounds,

Sucking my thumb my universe is a watery tomb,

Warm and secure,

Eyes closed I feel myself grow and know,

I felt every feeling of my carrier,

I felt her stress and strain,

I tasted the sugars and stimulants,

I felt her laughter and resentments,

I heard my father’s voice,

Did I choose my parents?

Are they perfect for me?

As incubation prepared me for re-entry into an alien world,

My safety and security emerged into the bright lights,

Doctors forcepts pulling on my head grasping like a crown of thorns,

Screaming and pushing and panic,

As muscles spasm to expel me into sharp pain,

A re-awakening as to what is to come,

For life is suffering from the first moment,

What is love?

The earth plane a place of great diversity and contrast,

I have come from the past into my future,

From the future into my past,

Where am I from?

Hands grab me in methodical routine as love is not in this motion,

I feel no gentle touch or soothing welcome,

As he knows not what he does,

I am wrapped as a package and placed in a crib,

Yet is this my home?

I am named and held as a new born infant,

Yet my name is not who I AM.

I can feel every emotion,

For my world is interconnected with all that is,

There is no separation as the universe holds me gently,

All ways.

Temperature strikes the skin as a cold shock to the pure system,

Hands feel warm as I gasp for breath,

I surrender to life as I was born to do,

Instinctively I know my needs,

I cry for my feeds,

What am I really hungry for?

As I am aware of mother’s presence,

I try to keep her close,

As the bond is beyond words,

For she is me and I am her,

How can we ever be separated?

When we are One under the brightest light

of a Central Sun!

For this is the re-birth of my awakening!
