Tea Party Links to White Supremacist Groups

This is an interesting article. I feel the mask coming down tonight.  I feel fascism and Hitler as the desire for purity. You can feel it in words like ‘ethnic cleansing’.  I wonder what the psychological reality is for people who believe this is their identity. Perhaps what we have seen in history is a result of this belief. The Japanese come to mind when it comes to a monoculture preserving their ethnicity and not wanting to mix genetics. They also had fascism in their history.

A near death experience will shock them when they realise we are all the same on the other side.  Visit Dr. Raymond Moody’s work for a higher perspective which I feel puts life into context.  Maybe the white supremacist go through life in this way of seeing maybe the next life they become an African.   Life has it’s irony.  I’ve read in a spiritual book that a Christian couple moved to a neighbourhood and their neighbour was gay.  They were being tested.  God must have a sense of humour. I add this in as no-one will.  I know we live on.  However, below is the state of play for some people on our planet.  I note the kindness in the human rights people. Such is another way of seeing.

So what do extremists teach us? They teach me that I have no fear of difference or if any fears come up I change not the other. FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. I feel an old paradigm ending. It shows unchallenged ideas coming into the open. I see the same with extreme Islam, ideas that were uncontested are now challenged. Are there really infidels? How they treat women etc. Or are they people just like us? Are they the chosen people or ONE with all that is.  Are the white supremacists really superior or do they bleed like Muslims, have children, eat, sleep, snore, fart (ha ha) and have dreams.  Is their DNA truly pure, I doubt it.  We are the ONE family as we can all produce children, there is no separation in our species biologically which means we have come from the same genetic origin.  In truth culture has arisen over the course of time given climate changes and natural selection.  Adaptation some would argue. So is racism just fear of difference as we don’t feel secure or certain. I feel for problem solving that is the core of the discomfort they feel. They would have to look into childhood beliefs. Many could be older men in their 70’s still believing in the white paradigm.

Jane Elliott is worth checking out. I get a lot of hits to her work.  She was the one who created the Blue Eyed Series where she divided the class by eye colour and proceeded to put down one group and praise the other. She found fighting erupted, results improved for the favoured group and she saw how it changed how people felt about themselves.  She then swapped and made up a story that the other was superior based on genetics. She was basing this experiment on the Mengele experiments of Nazi Germany. It was very powerful what she did.  Later on she worked with adults and started to challenge all stereotypes and ridiculed the dominant perspective and made them feel worthless.  She was tough but people were deeply confronted by how racism feels or any form of discrimination.  It is horrific.  Refer https://wpas.worldpeacefull.com/2011/03/why-do-we-discriminate-jane-elliott-blue-eyedbrown-eyed-training/

Can we step back and really think about how we discriminate those with us or against us? Those we relate to those we don’t? Those who look different or speak a different language and how we feel? When I travelled I found I could communicate with people who spoke another language. I used gestures and smiles. They understood me. I realised we are so similar. I see the issue as separation (nation states), lack of dialogue, electronic media (imagined world) and not befriending those different. We tend to congregate with those we relate to to reinforce our views and make us feel good. Why not hang out with someone different and have the fun of discovering another way of seeing? I am more peaceful around different views now as I see those people have to go through their journey. I remember I met a guy who told me he killed someone, he was from a war zone.  I didn’t fall into fear but spoke to him of dialogue, peace and inquired as to how he felt? He was in denial it seemed and wasn’t ready to really face himself.  In truth any form of division is a form of discrimination with its roots in fear.  Until we question our fears we sooth ourselves believing we are right. To really face our fear is what we tend to avoid but it is the doorway to greater illumination.  Division in our world is common. Many do not feel the oneness of humanity yet. However, hopefully as understanding opens up, contact with difference happens and friendships develop our fears may subside. Same same but different.

I just had a funny thought – what would they do if UFO’s turned up?  You can’t build a wall. I wonder if their psyche would change and suddenly all humans were suddenly like them and aliens were foreign. I wonder?
