Authentic Peace in the World

Michael Brown discusses the real peace that passeth all understanding.  It is not about making peace it is about looking at what is obscuring our awareness of peace.

A wonderful teacher of peace who doesn’t make peace.  He is very clear that peace already exists.  Thinking is mental therapy. If people restore their emotional body to feel, you can restore your balance.  The way is to stop running away from the emotional body into addictions, that the experiences are beneficial, balance comes. Running away causes imbalance and developing inauthentic behaviours to mask the emotions.  The return to authenticity first seeing what is going on, fully experience your emotions – grief, fear, anger – in reality it is energy that is blocked.  When you resist energy it creates heat, friction, the heat and resistance in the emotional body is what we call grief, fear, anger – hot and bothered.  If you are being inauthentic resisting authentic self.  Trying to rearrange physical circumstances, you must take your awarness back into the emotional body and see its purpose, it is deliberate.  When you embrace it you come back to peace.

Feel is the key.

He speaks of the dharma (wisdom) not the drama.

Be here now (presence).
