The Brilliance of the Holy Grail
Below shows selected scenes from the Holy Grail. I remember this as a child. I love the knight that calls King Arthur a pansy after he chops his arms off. The other one I really love is the killer rabbit. Run away…. The French Taunters and of course the autonomous collective is a beauty…
Silly, crazy stuff but I love it. Thank God for lunies. I wonder at the comedians all over the world, women and men who are training as accountants and business management. See what we lose when we are serious. I have to laugh I just replaced the Monty Python movie (copyright blaa) with the Black Knight and noted how bloody violent it is. Horrible but sadly funny. Violence framed in humour changes the nature of it, as the audience knows it is silly. This ensures no trauma. I remember when I saw this as a child laughing at ‘flesh wound’ after all his limbs were gone, he could still bite him to death. It is very funny. Looking at it whilst writing this what I see is the mindset of war, the mindset of men, don’t give up, his manhood at stake. Very funny.
