Peace is to Water Your Garden for Eden

EDEN

Peace is on my mind,

Yet I know it lives in my heart,

We seek it in moments of great despair,

Where our beliefs are in need of repair,

So we look for peace in passages,

A passage to peace,

But there is nowhere to go,

When you know that peace is now-here.

Peace is not a destination,

For you have already arrived,

For the original meaning,

Was the thought form of love,

Which gave birth to the children,

For how do we know this is true?

Return to the innocence of the child,

And you will find peace.

To peace together the puzzle,

Is to not analyse the piece,

But to see the whole picture,

For which each is a part,

For all pieces are different colours,

But when you look for the patterns,

Each is part of the other,

Each no less than the other,

Each fits perfectly,

For perfection is in the moment,

Of truth.

Born into a world of fear,

Separated at birth,

For the picture needs to unravel,

In order to define itself as a piece,

It is peace meal,

That is why we break bread,

To remember all is one,

To share and have some fun,

In celebration,

And forget that we know who we are.

The essence of peace is truth,

For returning to our own truth travels the road of experience,

The essence of peace is joy,

For happiness is harmony,

Anger cries for help,

Joy is simply being in the moment,

Giving unconditional love,

To not be afraid of the clown,

That lives to remove every frown.

The essence of peace is love,

For love is god,

And where love is present,

You receive the present of love,

There is no us and them,

There is only unity,

There is only family,

There is only the challenge of reminding ourselves,

What are the barriers to love?

For when this is deeply felt,

One feels the sting of judgement,

One feels the withdrawal of fear,

One releases tension with angry words,

That injure the innocent heart,

And cause separation,

But how can this be possible,

When we are one breath.

For to win is to remember this truth,

That there is no other but one family,

To seek the uni-verse inside,

Not look to condemn but to go inside,

For the truth will set you free,

When you be,

True to yourself,

For that is to truly listen,

For love is alive,

Fragments have been captured in books,

For cobwebs lovingly reveal the age of time,

But love is alive and real,

It is the seal,

That brings completion to every breath,

That celebrates differences,

But never discriminates,

That expresses the highest feelings,

As extensions of love,

For those who don’t are in need,

They no longer love themselves,

So we simply remind them of their beauty,

For only love heals,

Only love peels back the barriers,

For the sweetest fruits awaits your succulence,

It is healthy and the fountain of life,

Awaiting your beautiful return.

If God is the wind,

Then you are the kite,

So fly high and often,

Float with the breeze,

Let go and let flow,

Non resistance changes your direction,

For the wind will take you to where you are needed,

And your talents will rain down on a barren landscape,

For you will not care what country,

Or piece of land,

You will lovingly water the garden,

For Eden

is the home of love.

Mohandas Gandhi

“If we are to teach real peace in this world, and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children.”
