Imagine Peace and Be The Change
I love these words of John Lennon. He never died for me.
Peace is a true discipline. The discipline is not hitting back when you are angry, is not blaming when you feel a victim, not hurting because you are hurt. It is rising above those negative emotions that can easily run your life. It is to know that when people are unkind, silent or angry they are disconnected from the peace within. They are believing negativity which cuts them off from the true joy which is their natural bounty. Know that all negativity is a cry for help and that it is never real. Only love is real and when you connect only with loving thoughts, peace becomes realised. We are indeed one world family. For me there are no terrorists, militarists, criminals, abusers – what I see are people in pain believing that by fighting they will scare off what they fear. Any person who hurts another carries guilt and pain. So my wish for them is to find their truth and reconnect with the virtues within. That is truly what gives the feeling of oneness to humanity. When I clowned around the world in refugee camps, in nursing homes, HIV clinics, hospitals, disability hospitals, orphanages, women’s shelters, deaf and dumb schools, parliament, conferences, the streets, schools and so on, I felt the joy of love permeating my every moment, I saw only beauty in all faces. I saw the shine in the eyes and it was overwhelming in its power. I knew the power of love and saw anything other than love a mere shadow pretending to be powerful. I realised that every person has an essence that is like a light and when you shine your light it illuminates theres. That is how you know negativity is never real. So may you go forward and shine your light, particularly when you are in pain. Go the The Work of Byron Katie she will guide you out of the cage of your own making refer www.thework.com, I know you will find illumination when you seek for truth and peace. You will always know you are in a lie when you do not feel peace. The truth sets us all free. That is the greatest courage.
Imagine a peaceful world. It will come!
IMAGINE
Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You, may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will live as one
