Toilet Paper Poll – What is Happiness?

This continues on from the previous blog about the first ever toilet paper poll I conducted at a university.  I figured the toilet/bathroom/WC is where people go for peace and a good place for contemplation.

Here are the results from the question – What is happiness?

I love public opinion, some of its funny …

This is an excellent idea (poll)!!

Gods love makes me happy

I agree

Happiness is when you find forgiveness

Making people happy makes me happy

You can’t love anyone until you learn to love yourself and when you love yourself you will be happy!

Happiness is the arm fuzzy feeling you get all over

Happiness is now, enjoying the smile and the warm hug of a friend

When people are comfortable being themselves I’m happy

Being appreciated makes me happy

Having people to love and who love me makes me happy

Being patient, loving and considerate makes me a happy person.

Happiness is the realisation of a true perception

(If one day I found my true love, I am happy.  I found my best friend.  I am happy)

I like to feel those

Happiness is knowing your better than everyone else!

Happiness is not caring if your better than everyone!

Let happiness come and go as you truly can’t appreciate it if you don’t let your feelings flow

Happiness is what u make of it!

Helping others makes me happy

Happiness is finding a $20 note in an old jacket you’ve forgotten about!

Getting head from my boyfriend makes me real happy ü © u honey!

As soon as you realise you’re happy the magic subsides – just a little!

Happiness is an attitude: you have to learn to roll with the punches of life

A good poo makes me happy – I’m happy now! Getting my period after unsafe sex (but good) makes me happy – I’m really happy now

You caring about what makes me happy makes me happy

Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but rather a manner of travelling

Happiness is an illusion created so humans can survive each other

Happiness is also a commodity, see (todays topic is happiness)

Jobies on everyone

Happiness – being free of shallow, vacuous, pseudo-christian, newage pap like this

There can be no happiness without LOVE!!!

I don’t think I could ever find peace – if we could there would be no God, there would be no war, there would be no earth.  We would be living in god’s kingdom where we would know is LOVE, PEACE and happiness.  We would be replicas of our creator.  We all want peace, harmony, love and joy but no one is truly ‘Sin-free’.  If we are not sin free, we cannot truly be happy and peaceful.  We may have some joy in gaining pleasure in whats sinful but is that truly happiness.  I ask you?  God bless.  Amen

I agree

Happiness cannot be found without connection to our creator through Jesus Christ.  He gives me peace because I know he has rescued by soul.  Yesss!!!

You are happy if you choose to be happy!  You and only you are the creator of your happiness.  God is there to help you, but ‘as you wish, so it shall be’.  Be happy.

PEACE         = LIVE AND LET LIVE

                                                          = ONLY KINDNESS MATTERS

                                                          = DON’T STOP LOVING

                              HAPPINESS   = SUNSHINE

                                                         = EXERCISE

                                                         = NUMBNESS

Perhaps happiness is ignorant bliss – like when your are playing hopscotch in the street outside your house and the only thing you fear is your mum calling you in for dinner, thus ending your game

What is happiness?  Sometimes I’m not sure.  I think I’m there than suddenly I’m left wondering again…?

Inner peace first.  Peace to others follows through acceptance, respecting difference, tolerance and being mindful of harmony and love.  Peace and happiness will then be everyones!

Swimming in a beautiful clean river surrounded by trees, mountains and sunshine.  That is happiness.

Happiness is the feeling of being loved and sharing your experiences with your loved one

Happiness is a commodity.  The illusion exists so we don’t live in complete conflict with our ‘self’ and everyone else.  It’s the carrot.

Mohandas Gandhi

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
