First Official Denial of UFOs

This is interesting footage taken in 1942.  It seems the military acknowledged the existence of UFO’s and then changed the story to a weather balloon.

I only have to imagine the galaxy and beyond to feel a inner certainty that we are life and it is highly unlikely that we are the only life forms in the universe or multi-verses.

It would be interesting if all recorded sightings were compiled into a global database so the public could look at declassified materials and determine the truth for themselves.  Governments are charged with representing the public, not concealing information from the public.  Some may say that it is to stop panic, why not poll the people and ask them or make the material available in a fashion that is not alarming, place it on the internet.  

I love the joke ‘denial is not a river in Egypt’. As they say ‘the truth will set you free’. Your job is to know thyself and be true.
