Live, Love and Let Go

Try to resolve matters with your family, if you can’t just accept life as it is. A way of looking at it is if you were meant to have family in your life, they would be there. If not, there is probably significant lessons being learned outside of family. I do think the life unfolds as it should. Sometimes we can yearn for something different. As Byron Katie says you can’t fight reality, when you do, it hurts. I see so much wisdom there. If you find you are overwhelmed by unresolved differences go to www.thework.com try to inquire into yourself. We are in times when there are many conflicts left unresolved. So the only way to find peace is to go into your own inquiry and let go. On some level, like death, you go through stages of grief, then comes surrender, this is where you totally accept it and let go.

I send you peace and love.

LIVE LOVE AND LET GO

It matters what you say,
It matters what you don’t say,
A world of walls,
Where we don’t say what we mean,
Or mean what we say,
Sitting silently in the background,
Watching.

What a world!
Is this a screen play?
Will there be a happy ending?
Or just silence at the end?
Sometimes this can be a place of great reflection,
Yet for others,
There is nothing to say,
For who is really listening?

I see so many stones unturned,
So many families divided,
Unable to say sorry,
Unable to forgive,
To not sit around the table,
As a table no longer exists,
As families sit in different rooms,
Lives are separated,
For when the family breaks,
The child is never the same.

If you want to reunite,
Perhaps look into the mirror,
Admit the imperfections with good humour,
Look at the lies with a smile,
For of course you are human,
But don’t go to sleep without saying sorry,
Don’t leave without finding your truth inside,
If you think to ring,
Ring ring,
You must answer the call,
Even if the call is unanswered,
For family is the greatest sacred sight,
It is the inner sight of community,
It is the bedrock,
That lays the foundation,
Of living in peace.

So forgive them,
For they know not what they do,
Love them,
Let go of the past,
For the past has let go of you,
You are free to move forward,
You are free to love,
Even if letters are not returned,
You are indeed worthy of love,
So just allow it to be what it is for now,
Get some sleep,
And know you are loved,
And you do not need to earn it,
Just learn from it,
For life is the greatest teacher,
Sometimes we do not know the wisdom of silence,
Or broken dreams,
Just dream of a better future,
Perhaps angels will drop in at night,
And hold you tight,
For you were never left alone,
And this is a foundation stone that turns up,
When you least expect it 🙂
