What is the Answer to the Tree of Knowledge?

AND ANOTHER!

The master asks:   How many leaves in the tree of knowledge?

The student can only imagine the many trees and starts counting.

The master asks: Why do you count the trees? Why not find the root?

What do you think? Is it a square root or is it a circle? the master inquires.

For some look for answers in developing complex mathematical problems,

Others circle in questioning spirals without end.

The master asks:  What is the root?

Student: The student feels perplexed as s/he no longer knows the origin from where to start?

S/he wonders – Where is zero point?

The master asks: What if there is no beginning and no end, hence from nowhere do you start?

Student:  The student is silent for a long time trying to locate nowhere, when somewhere is everywhere.

The master smiles and asks:  from now-here is where you start. It depends on how you choose to see my words. The answer is always in the question!

‘What is’ the root?

Student: The student laughs as sudden insight flashes – I AM the root!

The master states:  And another!

Student: There is no other!

How can there be!  I am the tree of knowledge that is aware for the first time,

I am not lost in the wood for the trees searching for the forest of knowledge that sets me free,

It is in ‘not searching’ that you discover you never left the origin, there is no forest!

It is the mind playing!

The master states: And another!

Student: The student silently realises to stop answering the question and allow ‘what is’ to simply be!

The game stops, the questions stop, the answers stop and the peace of now-here arises as the awakened mind.

The story is over, in truth did it ever exist?

Only love is real!

This is the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.
