Time is Running Out on Climate Change

Somehow I don’t think we are going to get tickets to the moon. I smiled as I hear David Attenborough.  Of course he is right the what is the core problem.

Our separated state of consciousness.  The greed and selfishness emerges from a mindset that does not feel the intimate connection to our nature.  I say ‘our’  nature as peace is our nature and this is what must awaken if we are to realise real change.  The leaders are not leaders in truth they are installed these days by corporations who are only interested in the mandate of economic growth as the whole system is configured this way.  As government allowed them to gain control through contracts, donations and personal relationships civil society lost its mandate to be governed in its interests which of course would be inclusive of climate change.

So the reality is they can’t change, it is futile to ask for it.  It is civil society that must change and that will come from an awakening of our intimate connection to nature and to realise who we are.  At the moment we feel we are in survival mode, we feel afraid as terrorism is continually talked about as civil liberties and rights decline.  We have the issue of Full Spectrum Dominance as a theology of the US military and large multinational companies who all have mantras of being the greatest in some way as they seek to find some sort of satisfaction or grandure from their commercial success.  This is ego in service to self unable to connect to the higher self in service of humanity. This would seem like some fantasy rather than the higher potential of humanity.

I observe the Smart Cities and the desire to connect everyone, the smart metres, heat sensing lights, facial recognition, drones, legislation unraveling privacy, personalisation, tracking, profiling for financial gain.  I can see they are unaware or uninterested in the core issue facing humanity of ecological collapse.  We should not be herding people into mega cities but decentralising and ensuring free energy technology is available (already invented by Tesla) so the world’s people can be self sustaining.

However, this indifference and inability to act doesn’t surprise me as in my experience as homeless I saw very nice people disconnected from the reality of no home and no income and silently victim blaming as they haven’t had the experience of severe poverty.  I have heard the words ‘entitlement’ bandied around with social security yet the real entitlement is in expecting lights to come on, expecting water through taps, expecting access to people of profile (elite), expectation that one can go from point A to point B and reach for what they want (those with the means).  Entitlement runs deep in Western society but it is an illusion as we breach limits, unable to change, feeling paralysed that leadership is not rising to the challenge.  I hear the words of Michael Moore ‘whose your daddy’.  Always we are influenced by money not conscience.  I hear the words of Al Gore ‘the gold bar or the entire planet’.  I see the gold bar selected as insecurity reaches for what it believes is security in a psychological system that says money is security.  Yet it is not, real security is trust in life, it is in allowing life to unfold, it is not in control as life is, it is in the words ‘know thyself and be true’ and ‘love each other’.  I feel the security as I have nothing yet I still feel the loving security of life cocooning my life in amazing ways like magic. The indigenous knew this magic and called it the dreaming.  All ancients knew of the real cosmic reality of our universe and they were quick to offer thanks for whatever they had as they knew it could be taken in a moment of drought, blizzards, plagues etc.  Those of us falsely cocooned in a economic system that promotes greed not able to balance need=want where homeostasis exists.  They do not understand that peace is the zero point where real energy is.  It is a resting point between thoughts, it is nature without a story and it is a remembrance of who we really are.  That is what I am learning as I trust life.

Here is Richard Attenborough, a wonderful scientist whom I’ve loved for years, who is a true peacemaker with nature.  He was able to show us what our beautiful world has created.  He was able to share the magic, the beauty, the brilliance and the marvel of a natural system we did not create.  It is the higher intelligence that created a system of interconnections, re balancing, genetic mutations, natural selection, adaption, functionality and sustainability with the whole as not one part is seeking to dominate the whole, or reaching for more, all are in a energetic flow responding to nature and yielding to it.  This is what I term ‘love’.

We are a primitive civilisation that still thinks war is control, that money is prestige and that success is the biggest ‘whatever’. It is not.  The advancement of civilisation will express through:

  • working together
  • causing no harm
  • elders raising children (maturity)
  • no warfare
  • ecological sustainability as who we are
  • positive thoughts
  • gentle correction through assisting others to understand the nature of what they did
  • no force or control
  • realisation we are one with nature and each other
  • loving kindness as the mainstay of human culture
  • sovereignty of each person
  • respect of diversity
  • no imposition
  • gratitude
  • peaceful coexistence
  • non polluting technologies
  • honouring all life
  • stewardship of a species system
  • respecting privacy
  • transparent and open in all communications
  • authentic (not seeking to be what one is not)
  • no punishment only guidance
  • no bullying
  • assisting one another to reach their highest potential
  • a love based consciousness expanding this experience as life is for learning or accurately remembering
  • social businesses that serve humanity rather than taking from humanity
  • maximisation of happiness
  • paying it forward

and so on…  we all get to choose.  Who are you?  What do you choose?  Will you act on what you truly know?

I choose REAL HOPE as an answer for a World-Peace-Full.  I found my own answers. Who is listening?

Mohandas Gandhi

“If we are to teach real peace in this world, and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children.”
