Have International Banks Taken Over Australia?

There are important questions regarding the backgrounds of leaders in this country.  Is it ethical to have leaders coming from multinational companies, particularly companies that have been found to be unethical.  I think of Donald Rumsfeld who was the former Defense Secretary in the US who was the former CEO of Halliburton who made significant profits in Iraq.  The Bush family had oil interests.   Conflict of interest and potential penetration into Australian political sphere’s must be debated in the public interest.  My concern is the use of taxpayers money to benefit foreign interests.  In this video the issue of inducing debt as a strategy of interest as ownership transfers. The  pauperisation of the public means they are controllable or it can destabilise society causing unrest which may give more weight to control orders, imprisonment without trial and parring back of civil liberties as we have seen given the rhetoric on terrorism.   I advocate that the public must do their own research as citizens. This is how people can empower themselves.

This is a perspective.
