Peace is the Greatest Courage

Peace Pilgrim is one of my heroes. It is nice she is a female. I have never seen any person with real courage. I said to a family member recently that when you judge unemployed people depending on welfare, perhaps consider every person depends on something for their life e.g. work, partner, family, institutions etc. I told her the greatest courage is to go into the world in faith.

We see courage as facing fear, yet the greatest courage is facing fear within yourself. That is far harder than an external enemy. To weed out fear of hunger, homelessness, aloneness, criticism and being hurt. It takes enormous courage which in truth is faith to allow life to lead you. This is the real peace where you handover control to the God Centred Life. This is another word for Oneness, a cell in the body of God. So no-one is greater or lesser than another.

It is worth studying her work, very wise and I see her as one of the greatest peacemakers who has walked the earth.

She is always with me as an example of the potential of humanity to truly live in peace not appeasement.

This is the story of Peace Pilgrim a woman barely known in the world (not sexy enough) yet an extraordinary inspiration for the real peace of inner peace.  Her way is one of the greatest ways as the way found her.
